Dr. Deacon-Casey's Biography — Medical Director and Vascular Interventional Specialist Board Certified Interventional Radiologist and Vascular Specialist Dr. Deacon-Casey has been practicing in Jacksonville, Florida since 2003. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went on to complete an internship at Nashville General Hospital and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. She completed fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida/Shands, Jacksonville. Dr. Deacon-Casey is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Deacon-Casey's passion and interests include comprehensive vein care, women's health, AV dialysis intervention, and male infertility. She has extensive experience with treatment and vascular diagnosis in patients with uterine fibroids and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. Dr. Deacon-Casey was the Chief of Interventional Radiology at St. Vincent's Healthcare, Southside Campus for many years before co-founding Ponte Vedra Vein Institute and Diagnostic Center. She currently practices at outpatient facilities and specializes in vascular disease with minimally invasive treatments. Dr. Deacon-Casey is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has over ten years of experience.
