From Route 476 (the Blue Route) Going North

  • Take 476 North to Exit 9 (Upper Darby).
  • Make a right onto West Chester Pike (Route 3) and continue on the pike to Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Make a right onto Lansdowne Avenue and continue for approximately one mile.
  • DCMH is on the left, next to Upper Darby High School.

From 476 (Blue Route) Going South

  • Take 476 South to Exit 9 (Upper Darby).
  • Make a left onto West Chester Pike (Route 3) and continue on the pike to Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Make a right onto Lansdowne Avenue and continue for approximately one mile.
  • DCMH is on the left, next to Upper Darby High School.

From I-95 Going North

  • From I-95, take the Route 420 exit, heading west.
  • Follow 420 until you come to Route 1.
  • Turn right onto Route 1, following to fork in road, and then bear right onto State Road.

  • From I-95 South, take the Bartram Avenue exit and continue to Island Avenue.

  • Turn left onto Main Street, which turns into Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Follow Lansdowne Avenue.
  • After Lansdowne Avenue crosses Garret Road, DCMH is located on the right.

From Chester County or Western Delaware County

  • Take West Chester Pike (Route 3) into Havertown.
  • Turn right onto Darby Road and continue for approximately one mile.
  • DCMH is located on the left, next to Upper Darby High School.

From Route 76 (Schuykill Expressway)

  • Exit Route 76 at Route 1 (City Line Avenue).
  • Continue west on Route 1 into Delaware County (name changes to Township Line).
  • After Route 1 crosses Route 3, turn left onto Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Continue on Lansdowne Avenue for approximately one mile.
  • DCMH is located on the left, next to Upper Darby High School.

From Center City Philadelphia, via Walnut Street

  • Stay on Walnut Street until it dead-ends.
  • Turn left onto Cobbs Creek Parkway.
  • Turn right at the first light onto Marshall Road.
  • Continue on Marshall Road to Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Turn right onto Lansdowne Avenue.
  • DCMH is located on the right after you pass two high schools (Prendergast and Bonner). (Or, use the Route 76 directions listed above.)

From the Philadelphia Airport

  • Take 291 North (Industrial Highway) to Island Avenue (1/4 mile).
  • Turn left onto Main Street through Colwyn and Darby. (Do not turn left as you go around the bend.)
  • The road will become Lansdowne Avenue.
  • Follow Lansdowne Avenue to DCMH, which is on the right (five miles).
