From the Blue Route (Route 476 South)
Time: 15 minutes

  • Take 476 South to I-95 South.
  • Take Exit 6, Crozer-Chester/Widener University.
  • Make right at end of exit ramp and wind left onto East 13th Street.
  • Once on 13th Street make the quick right onto Walnut Street. At the first stop sign make a left onto 14th Street.
  • Cross over Edgmont Avenue (Route 352), continuing straight for three blocks.
  • The Medical Center Boulevard entrance is on the left.

    Parking

    Patients and visitors looking to come to the Emergency Department (ED) or other outpatient services in that area of the medical center can access the new Upland Avenue Parking Garage. Visitors and patients can access the garage via Upland Avenue, the road that runs right in front of the medical center. From Upland Avenue, parkers should turn onto East Drive, which runs in front of the garage and into the entrance.



    Valet service in the garage is offered from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patients and visitors can also choose to self-park in the garage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no additional charge for valet service, and parkers do not have to tip the attendants. The first 45 minutes are free, and fees range from $2 to a maximum of $6 for a 24-hour period. Frequent visitors can purchase discount coupons.


    The Gift Shop is located in the main lobby of the medical center. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.
    The Atrium:



    Your visitors may enjoy a cup of special coffee or a variety of hot and cold meal selections in our Atrium which is located on the first floor near the North elevators. It is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.




    Cafeteria:



    Our employee cafeteria, located on the ground floor near the South elevators, also serves your visitors. Patients cannot be served in the cafeteria. The hours are Monday through Friday:



    Breakfast- 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

    Continental breakfast- 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

    Lunch- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Visiting Hours

    While we realize that spending time with family and friends can be an enjoyable part of your day, your speedy recovery is our primary concern. Visiting hours vary from unit to unit. If a family member's visiting time cannot be accommodated during these hours, please call 610-447-6317 to discuss your special needs with your nurse or patient representative. Medical/Surgical Units 11 a.m.-8 p.m. The Center for Rehabilitation 3:15 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (Caregiver*) * Caregiver hours are set aside to allow time for observation of, and participation in therapies for those people who will be assisting you after discharge. Individuals visiting patients during these times will be asked to take an active role in your therapy session. Pediatrics 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for general visiting* * Two visitors permitted in room at a time. Siblings must be with an adult at all times. Maternity 4-8 p.m., General visitation*; children under 16 must be siblings of the newborn and are not permitted to visit during flu season. Any time, father of the baby or support person. (Crozer can accommodate over night stays for one person only.) * There is a limit of two visitors per patient, in addition to the father or support person. Adult Psychiatry Daily, 7:00 p.m.-8 p.m. Additional visiting hours from 1:00 p.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Closed Unit (ground floor) Tuesday and Thursday, 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Adolescent Psychiatry Monday through Sunday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiovascular Care Unit and Burn Treatment Center 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.; 4-6 p.m.; and 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
