In 1980, he completed his bachelors in English and received his masters in English in 1983. Dr. Gollard received his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his internal medicine internship in 1991 at the University of Southern California and his internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center in 1993. Care Philosophy: Dr. Regan Holdridge is a medical oncologist and hematologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada who welcomes new patients with any hematology or oncology concerns and has particular interest in the areas of breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, lymphoma and survivor care. It truly takes a village to treat a someone diagnosed with cancer. The field of oncology is humbling and teaches us all about humanity. We are not immortal, and we are merely human beings. For me, it is such an honor and privilege to get to know my patients and for them to open up to me. Biography: Telehealth Visits are Available Dr. Thummala, a medical oncologist and hematologist, is a board member for Comprehensive Cancer Centers (Comprehensive), and currently serves as medical director of its Northwest Treatment Center. Dr. Thummala provides treatment of all types of cancer with special focus on breast, colon and lung cancers & hematological malignancies. She is also on the frontlines of clinical research at Comprehensive, where she serves as a Principal and Sub-Investigator for many cancer research trials including collaborations with US Oncology Research, UCLA and Pharma Research. In the broader Southern Nevada medical community, she currently serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and also its board member for peer review & the nominating committees. At MountainView Hospital, she is Chair of the cancer committee and is the Sub-Specialty Director of its graduate medical education program. Dr. Thummala also sits on Nevada State Cancer Coalition’s board of directors and is currently an adjunct faculty member at UNLV School of Medicine. She is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Clark County Medical Society. Throughout her career, she has published numerous studies, including ones that have addressed the treatment of hot flashes in women with breast cancer; a study on using preoperative ceftuzumab in rectal cancer patients; and a randomized phase 2 study of PD 0332991, a cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor, in combination with letrozole vs. letrozole alone for first-line treatment of ER+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. Her phase 2 study on metastatic triple negative breast cancer with G1T28 and Gemcitabine/Carboplatin was accepted for publication at ESMO Congress and Lancet. Prior to joining Comprehensive in 2006, Dr. Thummala practiced in a single specialty group in Texas (Richardson Hospital Medical Center), where she served on the board and acted as the physician liaison appointed by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. She also served on the practice’s cancer committee and, separately, worked as a hospice director for Texas-based Harris Hospice.

In 1993, Dr. Nyamuswa completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at NYU Medical Center as well as a fellowship in Biological Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University.</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <p>Dr. Nyamuswa is a medical oncologist-hematologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) and is licensed to practice in Nevada and Arizona. Dr. Nyamuswa is a trustee of the Southern Nevada Cancer Research Foundation and assistant investigator in CCOP trials.</p> <p>Prior to joining CCCN, Dr. Nyamuswa practiced medicine at Cancer & Blood Specialists of Nevada since 1997.
