She is easy to work with and cares about improving your health through multiple methhods.
I wouldn't recommend her to anyone to be frank. The first time I seen her she spent little time with me and didn't help me much with anything. I had infection and needed antibiotics, she refused to see me and suggested I go to urgent care. All other issues she recommends referrals. Felt very unwelcome! Dr. Bales didn't successfully treat any problems I was having, and failed to even set me up with one of her referrals. I felt anxious and uneasy, like she just wanted me to go away.
Dr. Baskaya is a miracle worker. Not only is he the best of the best in neurosurgery, he is also an amazing human being. He is easy to talk to and genuinely cares so much for his patients.
I will not recommend Dr. Belzer to family or friends. I would recommend her staff and the nurse practitioners at her clinic though.
Very friendly and truly listens.
Dr Baskaya is one of my favorite Dr's - I actually like going to see him and Letty - They are both wonderful and make a great team,
I can call - or email anytime during the day if I have questions and that is really important to me with the medical condition that I had / have
I wish more Dr's were like Dr Baskaya
She is a wonderful pediatrician, listens to what one has to say, and remembers from visit to visit. Very good in terms of getting my kid to the specialists she needed.
Dr. Darveaux came into the exam room with a preconceived diagnosis from 10 years ago after reviewing my chart before even coming in the exam room. He discounted my explanation of my symptoms and treatment I had at another facility for food allergies. I have never been so offended by a doctor in my entire life. I left there feeling what a waste of my time and money.
I have seen Dr Bradley for 2+ years. I am devastated at the prospect of having to change providers due to insurance change. I have received excellent care from Dr Bradley, who consistently demonstrates extraordinary compassion and commitment in caring for her patients. She and her staff have always been incredibly responsive to my needs. I could not have wished for a better physician.
I smashed my hip in a road cycling accident, required surgery to repair my acetabulum and when the 8 hour surgery was complete Dr Goodspeed told me that it was a near flawless surgery. Now 9 months later I can say he was correct and my hip is terrific. His work and bedside manner were fantastic and is recommend him for any orthopedic surgery.
Dr Callander is highly regarded oncologist and the VA is fortunate to have her serving veterans. She is friendly, has a positive attitude, and is genuinely concerned about the best treatment options for each patient.
Doctor Chapman literally saved my life! She was kind and tenacious in finding a diagnosis to a challenging problem. She was assigned to my case from the emergency room Thank God!
Dr Burkard is a wonderful physician. His calm reassuring manner helped me to stay calm and not worry about my treatment or prognosis. I knew I was going to get through this battle with cancer just by having Heather Newman as my surgeon and Mark Burkard as my oncologist!!!
My care by Campos was very similar to the other reviewer that had surgery with him at UCSF. Before my surgery he stated what on expert he was and did large amount of the that of type of surgery all of the time. Found out afterword it was all a lie. Had not performed one in over 18 months. When reviewing my history I found no presurgical exam records, falsified records and missing records. I would not trust him at all. If you have seen him or seeing him request your records. Run away fast.
He performed LRNY at UCSF. Did not care for him personally. ZERO follow up. When I did call once, as I felt incision was infected, he was very annoyed. He never followed up. No one from UCSF ever called to follow up even after surgery. Never heard from them again. I had to find out from my husband that they had complication in surgery with my heart slowing down, someone quickly advised him, but he didn't fully absorb. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME there was a complication. I still don't know what it was!
Refused to order a MRI for my neck, I went to Madison, Wisconsin to get a FCE Report and I have damages to my c-6 & c-7. This was after I told her I needed MRI done, but she refuswd.
I am considering suing her for negligence considering I've been in this condition for two years with no help from her.
Sad so-called doctors assistant.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to her.
Dr. Feldman was on call on a Sunday for my surgeon. He is a very rude person. Did not listen to my responses and was very dismissive and condescending. If he has to deliver news like We never hear of that side effect for your surgery after xx days he could at least acknowledge the symptom instead of acting as though there was no way I could be having it. His bedside manner is a ZERO. I am only giving him a 1 because he did call in the prescription for the symptom.
Talked a bit too fast
Dr Erickson I would give five stars to. He is very friendly, does not rush you away to get into next patient. Some of his staff though are very rude, not honest and just unprofessional. It is a shame as I would reccomend dr Erickson to anyone if it were not for a couple of staff that work their as he really is the best Dr I have had.
If you need the best orthopedic surgeon in America, this is your man.
I had a full left hip operation. After operation and PT, I am walking around with no more arthritic pain. I can cross my legs and am more flexible than before. One leg was a little longer than the other before the operation and they ended up perfectly the same length after. I have a very active lifestyle and it is nice to get back to that again. Great job Dr. Illgen!
Dr. Afifi did my DIEP flap reconstruction after my bilateral mastectomy. He was very personable and professional. I couldn't be happier with my results! I would highly recommend him!
I just starting using Dr. Anderson as my PCP and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is caring, attentive and easy to understand. His nurse Gwen is gentle, responsive and everything you would want in a provider. If you are in need of an internist, you will not be disappointed.
Took a biopsy and fluid from my kidney and was told they would call with the results in two or three days. It's been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything. Diagnosed with colon cancer and would like to know if I am full of cancer or not, so I know how to continue. Dr. only in the room with me for 2 minutes and was not around when the biopsy was taken.
DR ADAMS IS WONDERFUL, MY BOYS LOVE HER ,SHE IS VERY ENGAGING AND SHE EXPLAINS HER DIAGNOSES SO THEY CAN UNDERSTAND!!!! I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Al-Niaimi is great - he's got a great bedside manner, is thorough in educating you about procedures and outcomes. You want this in a physician if you are working with cancer.
I can recommend Dr. Lavin without hesitation. She is an excellent physician, she is inquisitive and thorough, and she clearly explains the logic and reasoning behind her treatment recommendations and decisions. To her credit, in a short visit she diagnosed an ailment that many others before her had misdiagnosed. I have every confidence in her.
Dr Lavin is an amazing physician. I feel well listened to, she is considerate of my feelings and makes sure I am involved in my own care. She is very well read and up to date on the most recent data. I feel very comfortable with her managing my health. I highly recommend her.
Terrific surgeon. He does use at times old fashion plates, but he leaves beautiful scars and does a good job repairing the primary problem.
I wouldd not recommend her because it tookk about 5 weeks from
the time I had a X-ray for her to determine I should be further evaluated with a CT scan.
Dr. Maginot is an excellent physician. She is very thorough, kind, and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Maginot.
My wife had stage 3 Ovarian Cancer while Dr Rice worked at UVA. The prognosis was 20% chance of living 5 years. Dr. Rice pioneered a clinical trial that my wife was eligible for and therefore entered.Dr Rice always had students alongside as she worked, it was clear that they felt privileged to be allowed to work with someone of her stature. The final outcome doesn't impact this review, it has now been 10 yrs & Robin is still cancer free w/ CA125's of 2-5. I wish 4 more space to say everything!
Dr. Gale was very compassionate & excellent bedside manner.
It is very clear that Dr. Furukawa knows what he is doing and enjoys taking the time to be thorough in diagnosis and explanations with his patients. Would recommend to friends and family.
Put my wife on a treatment plan and then refused follow up. My wife has called to make appointments numerous times and they say they won't see her now.. I don't get it. You provide a service and we are willing to pay for that service. I sure hope that another physician doesn't find out all the meds you put her on are damaging her in some way. We gave you a chance to fix it!
The wife's breast augmentation was excellent! Turned out perfect!
Dr. Kamp is extremely knowledgeable and patient care oriented. I had a positive experience while having a cavity filled and that takes a special kind of human to administer. I appreciated his recommendations regarding my teeth and the care I give them. I will be returning at the beginning of the year to have a procedure done, that will benefit the longevity of my teeth. Without Dr. Kamp's assessment, I would not have known that I could further prevent cavities and prolonged issues with my teeth.
Fast, Knowledgeable, and Kind. Dr. Josvai made my trip to the ER seem a little less traumatic.
I felt immediately comfortable with Dr Harms - he's down to earth, friendly, and takes the time to explain everything.
I have been seeing Dr. Said since 2010 & he is amazing. He's very caring, thoughtful, compassionate & very sensitive to my needs & my families needs. Dr. Said takes his time with me & knows I always bring a list of questions. He says to me, "Is that all you have for me today? Come on there's more. That wasn't bad!" He always gets back to me when I call. He has never dismissed my question or concern. He makes me feel at ease & has a wonderful bedside manner. I definitely recommend D. Said!
Gloria is the sweetest :)
I've never met a Doctor like Katie. She has really taken the time to get to know me and listen to my concerns. She does not dismiss my thoughts or undermine me. She has continuously encouraged me in my journey to become healthier and takes the time to check in. I would highly recommend her. Her staff are also friendly and wonderful.
I met Dr. Mohammed a week before my breast cancer surgery. Everything was a whirlwind. I was put at ease right away when meeting him. I can honestly say he has been my favorite physician ever. Very kind, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Never condescending, always positive which is the way I approached my cancer. I was very sad losing him at Mercy/Rockford, but HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to any new patients in his new location. He's one in a million.
Dr. Miller overlooked the issues I wanted to discuss with her, only focused on other matters I was not interested in addressing at that time. Blatantly forgot about my lab results and brainstormed other diagnoses with me even though my dx was clear from the labs.
Dr. McGetrick is very easy to talk to and is very though.
I found her generally discouraging during my visits to her at 20 South Park and left feeling badly about myself after seeing her.
Dr. McCulloch was very late to my appointment and when he did arrive made no attempt to apologize for his tardiness. While he seems very knowledgeable, he didn't give me much time to interject my questions. Most of the appointment was spent with him talking down to me - rather than allowing me to inquire about tests and options. I would not recommend any of my friends or family go to see him. I also will not be returning to see him again.
I have been seeing Dr. Pfau since about 2000. He is caring, compassionate & thoughtful. He always remembers the little things, like that I wear fun socks for my procedures. For as long as I have been seeing Dr. Pfau & as many ERCPs, colonoscopies, EGDs etc, I have never had any problems or complications after the procedure. He's great at what he does. He calls when he says he's going to, listens to all your symptoms & spends time with you. I am so thankful for Dr. Pfau & the care he's given me.
Rude and arrogant
Dr. Heiner has done three surgery's for me in last 3 years and he is a wonderful Dr. I have total trust in. Thank you Dr. Heiner.
Only a 1/2 star as far as I am concerned - he did a rectoplexy on me yrs ago and every time I have a bowel movement my nose runs - interesting isn't it - and that has been since day 1 - I think he hooked up the plumbing wrong - plus he didn't fix the problem - to this day still have the same problem - I would like a refund.
Dr Winslow is extremely caring, listens to your concerns. She takes her time and does not rush. She did surgery on my liver cyst. What I thought would be a painful surgery, was relatively pain free.
Dr Winslow is a compassionate caring doctor that made me feel instantly comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Very dismissive, despite cardiac findings. Does not offer info - must ask so do your own research.
I decided on Dr. Zdeblick from referrals, his experience in the field, and also him reviewing my MRI before I came into the office and getting me an appointment the next day to see him. Other surgical consults I was waiting months. I traveled from Michigan for every appointment and I will say it was well worth it. He performed a microdiscectomy/decompression on a very large herniated disc, and I now have no symptoms. The entire process went smoothly in all areas. Highly recommended.
Dr. Yu is very knowledgeable and always has an open mind when recommending treatment options. He is not like other providers who are quick to prescribe medications. He interacts with the patients and also takes any concerns parents may have into consideration. He is quick but very thorough. He doesn't keep his patients waiting.
One of the best in his field. I highly respect & value Dr. Zdeblick's medical opinion.
I can not say enough good things about this man! When I first went to see him I could barely walk and was on crutches. I am a little over 6 weeks post surgery and I have zero pain. He is amazing and also fixed a friend of mine.
In 3 minutes he stereotyped me as a neurotic woman: desperate and anxious, telling me you need to put the pain in the back of your mind. He never talked with me, his assistant did. He didn't have my x-rays and didn't know about the comparison of MRI's from 1.5 years ago indicating further deterioration (Oline-Turveille).Mr. Zdeblick, I've never had someone experience pain from touch (on the back of my neck where the bulges were)...that's an anxiety reaction. He was dismissive.
Dr. Tipnis gives it to you straight and we love it that way. He is an excellent doctor.
I would without doubt recommend Dr. Tueting to any patient with orthopedic needs. The reason for this feeling is that Dr. Tueting knows his practice and showed it in the surgery he performed on my finger. I found that in the clinic he made the right diagnosis and recommended a procedure room surgery vs. an operating room surgery based on my preference. Dr. Tueting has a great bedside manner and will take the necessary steps to make sure that all is well at the end of the procedure.
Excellent and great person to person relationship. Dr Trautman made it her business to let you know that she did care and her work showed so. It's not very often you come across a great physcian that covers all bases, and takes you from point a to point b without a hiccup. #dowork
He was absolutely awful to deal with. He was rude and would not listen to concerns. He was not at all patient focused, rather only interested in what made him look better. His staff took their cues from him and are equally as unpleasant to deal with. I have had numerous prior surgical experiences with other physicians in the UW system and always been pleased. He should not be associated with such a high quality institution as he gives their facility a bad name. I would never recommend him.
Dr. Squire gave me 95? function back in my hips in a long battle to even have them replaced. His willingness to perform such a dauntingly complicated task is commendable. Where as 4 other surgeons wouldn't even think about attempting it. His expertise in his field is respectable. I give him my gratitude and respect.
A very thorough physician. I never felt nervous as he kept me at east with his easy going and patient manner. He also was clearly very smart; I have had multiple stone issues in the past that others have dealt with but felt very comfortable and confident in Dr. Sivalingam'd care.
I found Dr. Sharkey to be friendly but not very communicative. She has ruled out an entire class of pain medications based on her personal preferences. This left me still in pain and without hope of getting back to a quality of life. I would not recommend this doctor because of her not willing to explore other avenues of pain relief other than NSAID's. Which work most of the time but for break through pain are worthless.
I would definitely recommend him to others. He changed my life. I am very satisfied.
I was referred to Dr. Squire back in 2015, When I meet with him, he was straight forward with me about my condition. He gave me three choice's of what I could do, but bottom line was a TRHRP, (Total right hip replacement) I was very Impressed with him. A Doctor like him reassures me that they have the confidence in themselves to help the patient get better! And has an Excellent bedside manners.Very willing to help out when you have questions. A Most Definitely would recommend Dr. Squire
After learning I had RA I wanted to learn about non-medication options and Dr. Sharkey only wanted to get me on a prescription, she was not knowledgeable about alternative treatments. I ended up starting a prescription, had an allergic reaction and had to go to the ER. I called Dr. Sharkey before going to the hospital and she said it wasn't an allergic reaction. I had a rash all over and couldn't breathe. Needless to say I have been afraid to go to any RA doctor since this occurred.
I had bilateral hip arthroscopic surgeries with Dr Squire. They included labral repair and debridements, illiopsoas release, osteoplasty, and microfracture. I was pleased with the entire process, including the results. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr. Warren was excellent. I was nervous having never has surgery before but she was patient and kind, explained everything and put me at ease.
Took a few hours for the provider to come to the patient room but when she did she seemed very respectful and composed when she introduced herself--great impression. Once she was looking into the chart she did not explain anything or relay information to the patient/family. Once the family did not want to proceed with ONE option (originally stated there were many options for plan of care), she did not offer any suggestions and was very rude and discharged the patient from the emergency room.
Dr. Lubner is the most caring and compassionate Dr. I have ever had. He has a knack for putting you at ease.
Dr. Sam Lubner has been with me through 6 months of chemo and a year of follow up. From a professional standpoint, he is knowledgeable and willing to answer all your questions. From a personal standpoint, he is great guy - good positive attitude and actually cares about you. I am very grateful to Dr. Lubner for helping me through this difficult time.
Untrustworthy, judgmental, & and is either insecure or incompetent. Would rather throw you an antidepressant than actually figure out whats best for u. Knowing that Antidepressants make me suicidal, he still tried to get me to take them. He'll also work w/ u to agree on a plan (giving you hope..) & change his mind the next day (in my case it was because a different Dr. who'd never met me disagreed). Saw him inpatient & was then told they couldn't help me. Discharged me cold turkey off
Very communicative. Listens to his patient and answers questions about concerns that person has. Very encouraging.
