Dr. Nystrom made me feel heard and seen, unlike providers I’ve had in the past. I felt comfortable with her, and she made sure I understood her reasoning behind everything she said or wanted me to do. She went out of her way to look into different treatment plans for me, too!!

Dr. Nystrom rushed through every appointment and was annoyed if he had to answer questions. Had a rt tkr and was a horrible experience from day one. He was more interested in patting himself on the back. I think he expected a standing ovation. Would only deal with his PA after ist visit after surgery. I wouldn't let him care for me anymore. Thankfully I had to transfer care to another hospital due to insurance switch. Had my other knee replaced there. Night and day difference.

Dr. Sheehan provides excellent care and truly respects her patients’ input. She never dismisses or belittles concerns, instead directly acknowledges those concerns with compassion. Definitely would recommend!

I was seeing Dr. Potter for a shoulder problem. He seemed to think I was another patient he had seen 1 1/2 yrs ago. It wasn't me. I'm still not sure he got it correct. When I took my shirt off for the exam, he made a disrespectful comment about Tinder, it was unprofessional and inappropriate. I gave him one star because he found the office I was in and this guy wanted me to trust him to do surgery.

I am a U.S. Navy veteran who did not go to the doctor for 10 years. I have depression, anxiety, and a bunch of stuff going on... Dr. Sheehan has been my greatest help besides my wife in all of this. She is very professional and very personal. I am LUCKY to be in the care of someone who cares so much. The improvements I have made in my life over this past year have been amazing, and I have Dr. Sheehan to thank for a lot of that. I highly reccommend her.

Dr Sturm is a hack. Worked with him back in 2016. My shoulder surgery did not go well but he kept ignoring the pain I told him about and said it was a complete recovery. Eventually lost my job because I couldn’t endure the pain. He just makes sure to cover the hospital’s butt and doesn’t care about the patient. Still in constant pain. He basically ruined my life.

I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Sheehan. She did not seem to care about me as a person. My husband came to one of the visits and said he thought I should see someone else. Once my neurologist read the chart from Dr. Sheehan she advised me to get a different doctor.

I've been to a lot of GI doctors in the past 32 years due to Crohn's disease. From Mayo Clinic, Fransiscan Skemp in LaCrosse to UW Madison. Dr. Goldman is by far the best doctor I've had for GI. He is very intelligent and also takes the time to listen to all concerns and will even ask if I have questions or concerns. He will also listen to me with ideas and suggestions I have about my care and tells me, "You know your body better than anyone and have had Crohn's for so long to know what works and what doesn't. You know when something is wrong." Not only does he care about my health he also cares about me as a person. If I could give more than 5 stars as a rating I would. Aurora and the GI patients and employees will definitely miss him and lose a great doctor if he leaves or retires.

Referred by retiring physician. Unexpectedly told need knee replacement when responded favorably told no we weren’t going to proceed but would try injections. I indicated I wanted to first check with my daughter and son. He indicated the infection was already. Had to ask him to give the numbing agent a chance to work prior to performing the injection.

My husband needed a total hip replacement and decided to have a consult with Dr. Stephen Nystrom. He felt Dr. Nystrom not only gave him a lot of time to discuss his situation, he felt Dr. Nystrom was extremely patient with him. He felt he gained the knowledge he needed to make the decision to have the surgery performed. He received a great deal of attention from the staff which gave him confidence and reduced the stress pre-surgery can cause. The staff at the hospital were professional and very reassuring to my husband and to me. The surgery went well and I was texted about the progress which kept me in the loop. I really appreciated that attention to detail. The hospital staff was just the best and really took great care of the both of us. The next day Dr. Nystrom spent time with us discussing how the surgery went and answered any questions we had. Great bedside manner! It helps in recovery to have a doctor that really seems to care about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Nystrom!

I don't trust this doctor. He seems to be in business to bill insurance, not save lives. he missed a sessile duodenal adenoma in my second and third level of duodenum probably because he was too busy zapping argon at my stomach to increase the bill. Then, Aurora bans you because you don't like their doctor. Going to another doc likely saved my life - this new doc looks out for ME not himself.

Dr Nystrom is an excellent surgeon with the best bedside manner I have ever experienced. He operated on both of my shoulders (rotator cuff) and on both of my knees (partial replacements). I would highly recommend Dr. Nystrom. Unfortunately for me, he moved to Oshkosh Wisconsin.

I am a 5'10 woman weighing 118lbs. I saw him when I was continuing to experience weightloss and my only advice was to drink ensure, take a drug with side effects of weight gain and come back in 3 months. He did not believe that I was eating. They forgot to do the upper half of my colonoscopy. I spent thousands of dollars on a couple visits. I had to tell the PA what to test me for. Useless.
