Review of Dr. Lee

- in Cedarburg, WI |

I have known Dr. Lee for about three years. He came highly recommended by many other doctors and other health care professionals with the Aurora system and has lived up to my expectations. As a last resort I have had two lumbar fusion procedures. He explained everything going in very well and I knew what to expect. I always believe that to judge a good surgeon you must talk to his peers. No regrets with Dr. Lee.

After a botched microdiscectomy by another surgeon, in another city left me disabled I was referred to Dr Max Lee. He has performed 4 surgeries on me, ranging from an ALIF to a simple battery replacement on my SCS. Dr Lee is not warm and fuzzy and gets right to the point, but he is a VERY kind man who has helped me with my PTSD-like fear of surgeries. He did the battery change for me because I am afraid to let anyone else cut on me. Told my hubby that he normally would have sent me to a general

Review of Dr. Heffez

-Indiana |

Dr. Heffez is an excellent and knowledgable surgeon. He did both my tethered cord release and Chiari Malformation decompression and both surgeries went amazingly well. I had full confidence in him and he took special precautions as I had a couple other issues going on as well. I would gladly to go to him again if necessary. Though I will concede that his bedside manner is not the best. He made a couple remarks I did not appreciate. But if you can look past that, he's one of the best.

Review of Dr. Heffez

Dr. Heffez is amazing! He was the first Dr to actually listen to my concerns and not treat me as if I were making things up. He was very thorough with his exam with me. I left there very happy. I had finally found a Dr that knew what he was talking about and who cared for the patient. Between the time of my first visit until my surgery, his office was very good at staying in touch and Dr Heffez himself would even call me. Surgery went great and Dr. Heffez even checked in everyday afterwards.

Review of Dr. Heffez

-Hartford |

Very poor bedside manners. DR did NOT touch or do an assessment!! Has PA do all work and documentation. Urgent appointment requested per Dr and neither PA or MD assessed. Drove an hr for 5 min. He stated MRI was unchanged when ER/Radiologist stated it was worse.

Review of Dr. Heffez

-Milwaukee, WI |

I was referred to Dr. Heffez and had much hope that he could help me. It's difficult for me to go anywhere because I have horrible fatigue due to mitochondrial disorder and a lot of nerve pain from spine degeneration and maligned arteries etc. in brain (didn't know then). All are proven. I left feeling like a kicked dog. He barely looked at me and just said there was nothing wrong with my brain. Almost a scold since my symptoms obviously were not believed. He's a sick, mean little man.

Review of Dr. Heffez

Dr. Haffez was thorough, answered all my questions and treated me like a person unlike so many others in the past. My decision to see Dr. Haffez has been one the very best decisions I have ever made! Thank you to everyone at CSM!

Review of Dr. Heffez

I work in healthcare and I've never dealt with an MD with so much arrogance and poor bedside manner. He came in the room, didn't introduce himself. Anyone with a condition wants to feel at ease and be educated. I walked out of there not knowing anything different. The after visit summery read differently than what he verbally told me so I don't trust him. When I explained how I felt about the visit to the PA that works with him she got defensive. Unfortunate because I was so excited to meet him.
