It is for our first appointment. The doctor is not showing up online on time. We have kept calling in but no responses for 10 mins. Called Mequon office, no one is there, called Brookfield and was told doctor might be late but do not know how long. There have been no communications whatsoever . We could not trust a doctor like this, very disappointing

I had seen Dr. Jay Winston for several years and over those years he just kept adding more and more medications. At one point I was maxed out, on the highest dosage, of 3 antidepressants which caused me to have a serotonin storm. I was trying to work full time but living in a fog due to the amount a medication he had me on. For instance at one point I was on Lexpro, Wellbutrin, Effexor, Lithium, Seroquol, and Adderall. When I switched psychiatrist it took me months to slowly wean off of everything, which he said I never would do. I was off all medications for over 10 years. He is a pill pusher and has no idea what he is doing.

Very knowledgeable, caring, funny and most of all, human. She maintains control when you lose it, and brings you back to a positive place. She found the root cause of my depression very quickly, allowing us to immediately begin strategies to overcome and get me out of my dark place and into the light. I wish I had met her decades ago.

Took both of my boys today for new patient appointments. We were able to get appointments within a couple of weeks (unheard of!) and Dr. Winston was great! Both of my boys really enjoyed meeting him, as did I. He was very friendly and professional, and very knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful!

Dr. Loiben is a very down-to-earth and helpful doctor. I've been seeing him for 10+ years. Between 1-5 visits a year. The bad ratings here and the claim that he is "smug" do not match my experience at all. Of 3 psych docs I've had (including one at the VA) Dr. Loiben is the best and easiest to talk to. Give him respect, and take a genuine interest in helping yourself (i.e. get on the net and research your condition, and various medications, as much as you can). I do that, and can speak intelligently about my issues and meds. Dr. Loiben respects that. Psychiatry is a tough field. The human brain and disorders within are very complex. If a doctor can't perform miracles, don't blame him. Be patient and show him you take an interest and are trying to help yourself.

He always seemed like he had better things to be doing. Like he would try and rush me out the door after himself making me wait for him. He actually told me it was my fault for having my issues with people because i chose the wrong people to be in my life. O now have a bad stigma twards all psychiatrists because of him...

Dr. Braam is extremely compassionate and caring. She is really knowledgeable and continually keeps up with the latest research and treatment options. I look forward to my visits with her as she provides a warm and welcoming environment and listens closely to what I have to say. I am always amazed that with all of her clients she remembers little details about my history. I would highly recommend Dr. Braam for both adults and children.

Dr. C. Braam has been involved with my family as a psychologist for over 10 years. She has helped not only myself, but my children through some very difficult times. She has appropriately evaluated and diagnosed each of our individual needs and has helped us become the best versions of ourselves without judgement. To this day, as adults, they will still comment on how they don't know how they would have made it through without her help. I would highly recommend her and have to many others.

It seemed like the goals were constantly changing from one session to the next. I brought my child for testing and it was always put off until the next time. I finally decided that there wouldn't be a next time. I felt like we were coming in just to provide an insurance payment. Another family member also quit seeing her.

I have not had a bad experience with any other psychologists but will say my experience with Ms. Joachim has been better than the rest. She is very personable and easygoing. I have a high degree of trust in her knowledge and recommendations. I would not consider seeing anyone else.

Dr. Jay has been a blessing to me and my family. I saw many doctors before him but my insurance changed and that's how I found him. I am so lucky! He's the first psychiatrist who takes the time to really listen to me and help me. I know he truly cares about me and I am so very grateful for his help. He always spends as much time as I need and I never feel like I'm just a number to him. SO glad my insurance changed and I found him!!

Dr. Winston was very rarely on schedule, despite appointments being set up 1-3 months in advance. During one visit, Dr. Winston allowed a representative from a pharmaceutical company into the office to chat about The Packers , taking up about 30 minutes of my appointment. On another occasion he spent the entire visit telling me that he'd diagnosed Brett Favre with ADHD. When I presented with a crisis, he wasn't responsive asking me which medications I would like to try rather than proper care.
