I have been seeing Dr. Paul Utrie for many years. He is professional yet warm, patient, and informative. I am confident that his service is the best. I have moved to Texas and I wish I could take him with me. I will truly miss this wonderful doctor and person.

DrGrace did my carpal tunnel surgery on both wrist . Healed very well with no issues. Also just did a knee surgery. So far only some swelling and no bruising . I have been very impressed with Dr. Grace and the staff at OSMS. I have had 3 other knee surgeries at other clinics and this has been the best overall experience.

Hand Surgery
I had hand surgery with Dr. Zellner in January 2021, this was due to arthritis. He did an excellent job. He was very caring and paid close attention to my complaints to identify what was going on in the hand (there were several areas of pain) I found him to be honest and forthright in my conditions, which I appreciated. His surgical expertise was excellent, you can barely see the scars. He identified and addressed the main areas of concern and the surgery was a complete success. The staff was awesome, very professional and caring, this is what you would expect from a physician who exhibits these same qualities. I would highly recommend Dr. Zellner!

Dr. Miller did an anterior approach total hip for me in 2018. He did an awesome job! I was 67 years old. I am a retired RN and did some of my career in orthopedics. I am extremely happy with my outcome. I felt like I was 50 again. I have no pain and great range of motion. I am looking forward to having my other hip done and wouldn't consider anyone else for the job. Thank you Dr. Miller.

Six weeks ago I had an anterior total hip replacement with Dr Flannery. From the initial appointment through my final checkup Dr Flannery was professional, caring and understanding. He listened and set my mind at ease. I expect the best from OSMS and Dr Flannery came through for me.

Very personable and compassionate at first visit. Sadly, second visit was quite uncomfortable. We weren't communicating at all. I felt totally misunderstood. When I messaged him that I had felt rushed and hoped our next visit could be more respectful, he replied that he might not be the doc I'm looking for. Sad. I had such high hopes.

If you want to be able to lift your leg after a hip replacement I do not recommend going to Dr Miller. He has a fast food, drive through approach... get em in and get em out. I have less mobility and more pain now 4 months after my anterior approach hip replacement than before. I’ve did 18 sessions of PT, which is ridiculous and even tried acupuncture with electrode therapy for 4 weeks to help with the nerve damage he caused and my lack of mobility. Getting in and out of my car, bed chair makes me cry in pain. I’ve even had a steroid injection in my tendon to no avail getting dressed is extremely difficult due to the fact I can’t lift my leg to even put on socks, underwater, pants or shoes. All they want is money. They send my 900 bill to collections after 3 months.

Hand Surgery
I had a complete rotator cuff tear & chose Dr. Zellner because he was "the hand to shoulder specialist" at OSMS. I had surgery to repair it Sept 2019. Had to wear an ill-fitting shoulder immobilizer for 6 weeks. After 2 months of PT, I still couldn't raise my arm. When I expressed concern, I was told my muscles were weak because I hadn't used them in a long time. Finally, I insisted on an MRI, which showed the surgery had failed. He told me that my bones were soft and that it was difficult to anchor the screws in it. He said that in a surgical revision, he'd use stronger anchors. 2nd surgery in Dec. Immobilizer for 8 weeks. And after more PT, still no improvement and he gave the same excuse. I finally consulted another surgeon, who told me right away that the 2nd surgery had also failed, adding that 50% of revisions do. He did a reverse shoulder replacement with excellent results. Dr. Zellner was not honest with me about risks or results. Do not recommend him.

I am a retired RN, age 69, who also has rheumatoid arthritis. I went to Dr. Hein after two failed rotator cuff surgeries surgeries by another physician. I could not raise my dominant arm above chest level. He was very familiar with this situation and recommended a reverse shoulder replacement. He listened to all my concerns and explained the surgery thoroughly. He was very open about risk vs benefit and statistics for the procedure. He performs it often and with great success. I had my surgery at Bellin Hospital in July of 2020. Pain was minimal after the first day or two. I only had to wear a sling for two weeks. After that time, I could raise my arm above my head. And I've been able to resume nearly all my pre-injury activities. Dr. Hein is very kind and it's obvious that he really cares about his patients. He follows them very closely and quickly addresses any concerns. I am very grateful to Dr. Hein for giving me a normal life back. I highly recommend him.

I am extremely satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Zellner and the staff (Angie especially) at OSMS. I had been dealing with an injury and other providers, for over a year prior to seeking help from Dr. Zellner. Finally getting relief and healing after so long was definitely worth the 3 hour one way travel time. Both the doctor himself and his staff truly made us feel like they cared about my treatment and healing process.

Hand Surgery
Tragically bad. He did not look at X-ray long enough to see that he never fixed the broken bone. He claimed his work was perfect. He claimed his work was done. Dr. Papandrea had a very difficult time to fix his shoddy work (highlights from the third surgery done by Sr Papandrea included a bone graft from my iliac crest, a detachment of the lunar nerve, manually breaking the capitulum- a word that was misspelled in Zellner’s surgical notes, and putting an impressive amount of hardware into my arm). Additional problems from Zellner’s mistreatment of me include frozen shoulder, inability to supinate my hand, extreme back problems, pain in my leg from the bone graft, extreme weight gain, and unrelenting anger towards Zellner, Dr. Linehan for his incredible ill fated recommendation, and Dr. Linehan’s sister and my cousin’s wife. If they can’t even treat family with respect, why would you go to someone like Zellner?

I broke my leg in half as a child and it needed a rod. I am 43 years old now and have been dealing with leg and hip pain for decades. He spent much of his time bragging about his wife and many children and I have not had a full life due to this injury. It is supposed to be recovered and it isn't. I do not recommend this doctor- you may be left in pain and your appointments could be a complete waste of time like mine were- waste of time, money, and health.

Dr Liam, was difficult to understand at times and while she spent a good deal of time with me, asking questions of me, I left the office without a diagnosis- I did feel as though there was a cultural barrier to understanding my concerns and thus I was not heard, I saw her twice and both times I left very frustrated and without knowledge of what was occurring w my body due to lack of explanation on the doctors part, most of our time spent she was looking down at her papers and took notes as to what I was telling her when she asked questions. There was very little physical examination of my body and I had to keep asking what she thought I had unfortunately no diagnosis was provided on my visits, possible fibromyalgia was my answer, I am still in same pain.

I have been seeing Dr Utrie for some years now and I must say the care he provides is top notch! I have several autoimmune disorders and he always considers them when examining me and setting up a treatment plan. I work in the medical community and he was highly recommended by others in that community. They were not wrong, he is a very careful and considerate provider.
