Dr. Ginsburg doesn't seem to accept that major depressive disorder is a true illness, and keeps cutting my son's medication. He has not referred my son to anyone who is better equipped to handle my son's case. Because my son is on Medicaid insurance, he has told my son not to "bother to make an appointment", but just to come in and sit in the waiting room and the doctor will fit him in between (real) patients! My son has gone in 3 times and the doctor has not "had time" to see him. He is awful!
I have seen Dr. Ginsberg for about two years and I have yet to feel comfortable with the man.
Dr. Pumilia is positive, respectful and caring. He listens to his patients and advises them thoughtfully. He is not quick to initially prescribe medication if an issue could be addressed with improved life choices, naturopathic supplements and other treatments that are more holistic. He provides information about effectiveness of these and supports his patient's request as long as the focus is on improved health with follow-ups to check if improvements have occurred or not. He's great!
