Dr. Carpenter was amazing. His bedside manner is wonderful and caring. After examining me, he knew exactly what was wrong and scheduled the surgery to fix my neck. I now would never know that I had an artificial disk put in my neck due to the fantastic job he did and the quick recovery. I am looking at having to have my L4/L5 fused soon and would not go to anyone else. I would recommend anyone going to him for their issues, he will help heal you with the state-of-the-art medical technology.
Very personable. Very through in her examination of my knee. Discussed all options and courses of action.
I walked into his office for his services and now I am forever crippled in a wheelchair.
He is very good to me and has operated two times on my back and neck.
I had low back pain for many years when I saw Dr. Halpin. During the course of a year I explored other means of pain management. When I began having severe pain and minimal mobility we decided I needed surgery. I had spinal fusion of L4 L5. I was completely amazed my severe pain was gone and mobility returned (2015). I had the best hospital care and Dr. Halpin made sure to see me when I requested and during routine visits. He showed me care and compassion. Big Thanks! One year later. D. Landry
I just had my 16 week check up following a TLIF procedure. It is hard to believe just how much my life has changed for the better in that time. The day before my surgery, I could not walk more than a few feet without stopping, and was sleeping no more than 2-3 hours per night uninterrupted. A week after the surgery I was walking with no pain. Two weeks later I was walking 2 miles a day. I've since taken ten mile hikes and today was given the green light to leave the back brace at home.
He seemed arrogant. He was very quick and rushed the patient. He would ask questions but would not give time to answer.
Dr Carpenter diagnosed my problem as soon as he reviewed my MRI. He explained the procedure in a understandable manner. My outcome was great. I seldom even think about my back. I am 100 % pain free. I highly recommend him.
told i had deg disk thats it cant do anything
Dr Wood has operated on me & my Mother. We both had wonderful results. He did my Mothers knees surgery when she was 85. He did them both at the same time & he did a remarkable job. She recovered amazingly & had no difficulties. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Wood. His bedside manner, professionalism & care is excellent. As far as I'm concerned, Dr Wood is the best around & I wouldn't have anyone else operate on me or my family.
They tried to help me in every way possible, and without them I would not of been able to have my hip replacement surgery. He did an excellent job. He remembered I needed to have my legs evened out, after a poorly done hip replacement done in 2006. I am recovering much faster than I did before and I can tell the difference in the type of prosthesis used. Great Doctor, great team!
I recently had a total joint replacement (hip) completed by Dr Snow.
In one sentence: I could not have asked for a better outcome!
Progress after surgery is highly variable based on the patients physical condition, overall health, attitude, and other factors beyond the Surgeons control so I don't expect that everyone will progress at the same rate. Surgery was outpatient. I was walking without a walker or any aid, off all pain meds including over the counter two weeks after surgery.
Had two knees done at same time. In my mid 70's and in poor health and in pain standing, walking, even in bed before the new knees. Pain is gone, a few trade offs but very happy with my new pain free knees.
Dr Peterson seems down to earth and explains my procedure step by step in terms that I could understand, he made me feel comfortable added a little funny humor to the situation. After surgery (rotator cuff), he stopped by 4 times in thr recovery room, a nurse stayed in the room until I was ready to leave, she went over instructions with my wife, the nurse called my home the following day, then again later in the evening asked how things were going....... I will ask for Dr Peters again
I only saw Dr. Manista once (which is a good thing b/c he correctly diagnosed and treated my condition). He is very personable and competent. I believe he helped me avoid neck surgery. Would trust/recommend him to a friend.
Unfortunately I have had to see Bill for many orthopedic injuries/surgeries, and every experience has been positive. Surgical outcomes have all been good, no complications, beneficial communication, never seems hurried, takes time and explains everything
Dr Peterson is fair, honest and came highly recommended by several people. His demeanor is very professional and his staff is exceptional. His experience with Total Knee Replacements is why I selected him.
Dr. Peterson was extremely disrespectful and condescending to me when I had a follow up appointment for my knee. He refused to address the actual reason I was there, instead spending the entire time I was there focusing on my weight and treating me rudely when I finally spoke up. I had previously visited his office and saw his PA who is no longer there and had a wonderful visit so I was incredibly disappointed in how unprofessional Dr. Peterson was. I will not be using him again for my issue.
Arrived at the office 10 minutes early and was told the doctor was running 30 minutes late. Entered exam room 60 minutes after appt. time, was told the doctor would see me shortly. Heard the doctor in conversation with what sounded like sales reps and then taking a phone call and then heading away. After 40 minutes in the exam room I left,
Took two hours off work for this totally unacceptable treatment: Unbelievable!
Will not be recommending either Dr. Manista or Olympia Orthopedic.
I had an appt with Dr Snow for my shoulder and hip but after waiting nearly an hour past my appt time I was told he didn't have time to talk about my hip. So I returned a few weeks later and waited 2.5 hrs past my appt time to be admitted at 4:45pm. Dr Snow saw me for 5 min and told me to rest my hip and it would heal. 6 months later it's still bothering me despite forgoing my usual activities that aggravate it. I was happy with the result of the exercises given to rehabilitate my shoulder.
Dr. Snow is not only obviously well qualified; it is clear he cares and has a passion for what he has chosen for his life's work. Two hip replacements (August and other in November. He was so careful with all the details and took any question I had very seriously. Doing my 2nd hip close to the first one was a surprise to some of my acquaintances, however that was really very easy to do - with such clarity during the first one w/every detail occurring just as described...easy decision !
Absolutely the best doctor! I went to him for a second opinion on my shoulder post surgery and he redid the surgery. I highly recommend him
My first appointment with Dr. Zechmann he gave me restrictions that said I could lift up to 50 pounds when I could barely lift ten. When I expressed my concern he told me that if I didn't like it, I could go back to my L&I doctor and say the big mean doctor was asking too much of me. He seemed knowledgeable, but he barely spent any time with me and didn't listen to most of what I said. I'm glad he put in a request for a second opinion.
I did not have to wait long to get in. The office staff was welcoming and very nice and actually treated me with kindness. I have never been treated so kindly before. Dr. Manista immediately ordered x-rays and when checking me, found another issue I have, which other Drs. have over looked. He was familiar with an auto-immune decease I have as well. He was so kind and encouraging and requested surgery. I feel I am blessed to have been given this Dr. I feel hopeful, as no other dr. has helped me.
The procedure performed failed. The post op instructions resulted in an infection. The follow-up was I don't know how to fix it. with a referral months out. His over confidence, lack of experience, and apparent unwillingness to figure out how to solve the problem prevent any other rating.
