Dr. Patel is exceptional. I live in Spokane and was told that my eye could not be repaired (I had problems when my cataract lens dislodged). I was facing permanent vision issues. I looked up experts and found Dr. Patel. Not only did he fix the problem, he was a delight to work with. He's a wonderful surgeon. I felt completely at ease. It was worth the trips from Spokane to Tacoma.

Dr. Patel is a highly-skilled eye surgeon who really cares about his patients. In 2018 he did cataract surgery on my wife with great results. Last month he did cataract surgery on me. I now have the best vision I've had in my entire life. I can drive, use a computer, read a book or use my cell phone, all without glasses. Also, the staff at the eye clinic are friendly, helpful and well trained. The nurses and surgical assistants in the out-patient surgery center are caring, attentive and make sure you have the best experience possible. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team to anyone who needs eye surgery.

He’s great! Warm, friendly and very sharp. The clinic on the other hand needs much improvement on getting patients served in a timely manner. I wait every time for around 20-30 minutes, sometimes longer, then I wait for Dr. Patel for another 15 minutes or so. They just book too many people I think so they’re always running very late. I’ve put up with it because I really like Dr. Patel and think he’s one of the best around, but it’s still frustrating to have to wait so long and unprofessional of the clinic to continue this. They need to make a better effort on behalf of their patients.

I am a nurse practitioner myself and did a lot of research before deciding upon Visian lens surgery as I was not a candidate for less invasive procedures. After the experience I can truly saw I was impressed from my initial consult all the way through surgery and after. Dr Patel does fantastic work, is great at communicating, has a wonderful bedside manner and an amazing team of support staff. I wake up daily amazed that I can now read the clock across the room without glasses or contacts!

Dr Patel and his staff have spent extra time and effort to get the correct prescription so I can read without headaches after my cataract surgeries and YAG procedure. Dr Patel also follows me for a couple of medical conditions that can affect my eyes. They have always been patient and friendly. I have recommended him to my family members.
