A cancer diagnosis is scary at any age! I was referred to Dr Krishnadasan who determine it best to remove the lower lope of my left lung after early detection of a carcinoid tumor. He performed robotic surgery which he had early perfected and was also training other doctors in the field. He was quick to size up my anxiety regarding surgery and took all the time I needed to explain the surgery including drawing pictures of the lungs. The surgery was performed successfully by Dr Krishnadasan, and I was released from St Joseph Hospital the next day. Within two days I was walking a shorter version of my daily walk for two blocks. It has now been eight years without any further detection of cancer. I am now 79 years old. I strongly recommend Dr. K. and thank him for his part in the additional years I have been given. My Lord gets the rest of the credit.

Dr. Hampton replaced my mitral valve by minimally invasive surgery. My recovery time was quick and I was able to do light gardening by the end of the 3rd week after surgery and resume morning walks by the 4th week. I feel better now than I did even a couple of years ago and I am no longer tired and out of breath when I climb stairs, lift heavy items or try to walk long distances. “Reassuring” is the word I would use to describe the sense I had during my pre-operation appointments with Dr. Hampton. He was confident. He answered my many questions and he treated my concerns as important as I felt they were. Dr. Hampton clearly explained my options and, as a result, I was most comfortable going forward with my surgery.

I’m 78 years old and was diagnosed with a severe tricuspid valve regurgitation which caused shortness of breath and extreme fatigue. On February 3, Dr. Hampton performed a minimally invasive thoracotomy to replace it with a biological valve. Before the surgery, He thoroughly explained the procedure, answered all my questions and explained the risks and expected recovery time. It has been about 6 weeks from my surgery and I am almost fully active again with no shortness of breath or fatigue. I highly recommend Dr. Hampton.

Dr. Hampton repaired my mitral valve January 2019. Prior to the surgery he sat my wife and me down to explain everything that will be done and the optional replacement if need be. He explained the pros and cons of the two type of valves that could be used so we could make an informed decision. Lucky for me he was able to repair the valve. The less invasive surgery allowed me to go back to work earlier. I experienced a lot of pain during the recovery, which he did explain will happen, but now going on my 2 year anniversary I can say that I am 100% better. I would recommend Dr. Hampton to everyone. Great doctor and great staff.

Triple by-pass went very well and subsequent recovery just amazingly well too. Very fine Zoom follow ups and very positive advice. Only complication was an irritation of the Vegas nerve causing me a serious post-op issue and another ER visit. Overall, what seems to be a miraculous outcome.

Dr James and staff are always compassionate and professional in the office, on the phone or in the hospital. They discuss your questions and actually teach you. Quick to respond and very helpful when dealing with other medical offices or pharmacies. Dr James treats your current medical needs and is proactive. His surgical procedures assure that if future issues arise they can be treated in less invasive ways. We trust him completely. He removed our anxiety about needing open heart surgery.

If there is a special place in Heaven for doctor's, Timothy James, M.D. will have golden wings. Eight years ago, after having a heart attack with the "widow maker" being 100% blocked and two other arteries blocked, Dr. James saved my life. Today, he successfully performed a quadruple bypass on my ex brother in law. My ex brother in law is a very important part of my children's lives. When he called me and asked me for a referral, there was NO question who should do his surgery.

Dr Hampton performed a valve replacement on me last September. I have waited to provide a review. I can only praise his skill, and my rapid and very low pain recovery. He used minimal evasive methods leaving my breast bone intact, and speeding recovery. Always responsive to my questions and concerns, he is a wonderful surgeon. As a bonus, the recovery staff are super. Great concern going in, eternally grateful going out.

Dr. James is hands down the most compassionate, skilled surgeon around. He performed heart surgery in my husband in April. The way he talks to the patient and family is unlike any doctor we’ve ever met. He’s genuinely cares for his patients and it shows through his bedside manner. His team is amazing as well. Myself, my husband and my family can’t say enough about him.

My mother had lung cancer. He was attentive, caring, and responsive to changes. He even saw me in the halls and asked about how my mom was doing and offered some helpful insight and always made himself available. This was all 8 years ago and I still think about how helpful he was for my mom and my family. I looked him up because I am thinking of sending him a letter and I found this page. Hope my review is helpful to someone who he works with in the future.

Dr. Hampton came across confident and knowledgeable about all kinds of heart surgery. My husband and I had several questions which Dr. Hampton was willing to take the time and answer. Lots of questions repeated because of the type of surgery. We were meant to feel at ease about the heart valve repair. I was totally impressed by the hospital setup keeping me imformed of how the surgery was going: I have recommended Dr. Hampton to a couple of people I have talked to about surgery.

He is good at what he does. We see few complications. However, he treats nurses like trash and many of them are afraid to speak up when there is a concern. Even if we were to speak up, he literally looks past you as if you were not even there. It's just a matter of time before his ego costs a life.
