Dr. Butler is a very thorough and caring doctor. I appreciated the time he took to make sure I understood everything he was doing to confirm my diagnosis and make sure we were on the correct path for treatment. I never felt rushed to get through the appointment, he always gave me time to ask any questions, and made sure I had paperwork to explain any medications he wanted to try. I am so happy to have him as my doctor.

dr. mueller and his staff .. i have not words enough to describe them. compassionate competent patient centered . empathic. thorough . i do not think i had ever experienced care of this quality before . not about my arthritis anyway. i wish i had met him long ago. go see him. take your questions. he will answer them. and he will stun you with the depth of his knowledge and breadth of his intellect. i wish there were ten stars. i am left to make my own decisions about my bones , but i know have benefit of his information.. and awareness that ,yes, there is at least one physician who concerns himself with the quality of my life . very generous .... patient .... and respectful. his staff. oh. an amazing . wonderful. i was very very glad to have them assist me . and .. they did . they bent over backwards to help. they even laughed at my jokes. wonderful experience . even with stage four arthritis. how's that!!!!

Doctor Butler is an excellent Doctor in 2016 I move to Spokane WA from Texas because of Lupus I had a huge flare up that i was on the border of dying. Doctor Butler and my kidney Doctor work together to keep me alive. In Texas the Doctors told my husband to take me home to die. I am very Bless to have Doctor Butler he is very caring and cautious. he does cares a lot about his patience. I am strong now and healthy and no one can believe it.

So far, experience with Dr. Mueller has been good. As far as getting in touch with the front office via phone, has been challenging. Medical staff communicates well through email, otherwise communication would be difficult via telephone. Front office never answers. I always get the operator.

I saw Dr. Butler a few years ago and was diagnosed with a rare, barely researched auto immune disease. I waited almost 2 hours for my appointment and he immediately wanted to give me an injection into a joint to help with pain. He told me absolutely nothing about it or possible side effects and I felt extremely pressured into the procedure just minutes after being clinically diagnosed. I was crying and he stood there with the syringe needle saying nothing, and only when his medical student gave me a tissue did I feel like anyone cared about what I was processing. He put me on a medication that gave me stomach ulcers and decided to put me on something even stronger when my pain was still persistent. I told him my back had been hurting and he blamed my posture for it. I later had a CT scan that showed bone spurs on the part of my spine I was experiencing pain. Literally the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. I have never been more discouraged after seeing such an incompetent practitioner.

His arrogance and sheer uncaring for his patience is appalling. Dr. Butler dismissed anything that you as a patient tell him. He does not believe that you are in pain when you tell him and will call you crazy even though your test results show otherwise. Due to other circumstances I will be reporting him to medical board.

High level of arrogance. Immediately put me on hard core meds that only made things worse. Cancelled on my second appointment a day before - after waiting 6 months, and booked me out another 6 months. His staff mis-diagnosed a partially collapsed lung. He had a receptionist call me and tell me about a CT Scan result - and that she had to Google the results and forgot but would google it again for me. Unbelievable.

Extremely busy doctor, but spends enough time to make sure you understand what he is going to do. He listens very well and responds appropriately. Very knowledgeable. Been going to him for about 10 years after Dr Stevenson retired. His P.A. Dale is very knowledgeable as well.

Make sure to never no show for two appointments because if this happens they will ban you from their practice FOR LIFE. No matter how many years it's been since that occurred. Amazing customer service!

Dr. Butler does not listen to his patient, does not take any interest in the pain you are experiencing and most of all will prescribe medicine that makes you worse!!! I had to visits to the emergency hospital because I was allergic the the medication Dr. Butler prescribed. Still he wanted me to try it again! Worst doctor in Spokane. Do yourself a favor, stay home and take aspirin.
