When I went in to see Dr. Shumway one of his staff members called me incorrectly I ended up with $3000 in fees that I needed to pay out-of-pocket That I did not learn until several surgeries later and it was too late that I absolutely could not afford. I had already spent several thousand dollars. When I brought this to his attention he told me that the employee no longer worked for him. He does not take responsibility for the people in his office and now I am left with a piece of plastic sticking out of my mouth, I am a single mother of four children. Apparently he would not just fix the situation out of his own pocket apparently 3/4 of $1 million which I’m sure he makes each year is not enough for him… do not go to him

I can't say enough good about Dr. Shumway and his team and I'm person who has a difficult time with dental work. Great people.

This was my first visit to Dr. Shumway's office and it was an excellent experience. Dr. Shumway and his staff are very friendly, and you can tell that everyone that is there wants to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that may have had a bad experience at a dentist office. The dental hygienist that I had was very professional and excellent at what she does. You can tell that Dr. Shumway enjoys what he does and cares about his patients.

I just had the most efficient and comfortable filling experience ever!!! Also, I appreciated the white filling I received over traditional mercury ones.
