When I called to make an appointment, I explained the situation and that I was basically looking for someone who could refill my meds and order an echocardiogram for me. I have been living with AFib for many years and was on a maintenance schedule of meds and annual/semiannual echocardiograms. This was not a complicated case. I wasn't looking for a diagnosis or treatment advice. They said my visit could be handled with a telehealth appointment.Dr. Akoum spent 15-20 minutes talking with me and when I said the main reason for the appointment was to get an echocardiogram scheduled, he said he would order it. When I specifically asked how I would know when to go in for the procedure, he said they would call me after clearing it with my insurance company. He never did this and I got two bill for his 15 minutes - one for a "facility fee of $66 and one for $351 for 15 minutes of service, the bill said appt took 45-59 minutes.

Dr. Otto is on the cutting edge of cardiac technology and is a clinical researcher as well as a Cardiac specialist. I enjoy a person of her intellect and ability when I see her. She is not overly reactive to every situation, nor does she dismiss them. Calm, constant and effective. She will remain my heart Doctor.

After 2 failed cardioversions to fix my persistent symptomatic Afib, my cardiologist referred me to Dr. Akoum. Due diligence showed that Dr Akoum performs more ablations than just about any other Electrophysiologist in the Seattle area. Despite above-average fibrosis in my heart, which reduces the chances of success for the Ablation procedure, Dr Akoum and his team restored my heart back to strong sinus rhythm. If you suffer from Atrial Fibrillation, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Akoum. He is a superb doctor.

She is a Fantastic doctor. I have CHF and within a month my exchange went from 33% to 57%. Her appointments are never rushed. Her concern for your overall health is genuine. Well worth my drive into Seattle from Camano. Easily reached with questions or concerns

Do not visit him if you are a woman. I was new to the area and had been previously diagnosed by another doctor before I moved and had been doing well with no symptoms since my previous doctor started me on medication. Dichek tested me for "what most women have" even though it was not what I was previously diagnosed with and was going to take me off of my medication until I requested to stay on it because it stopped my symptoms. He was rude and dismissed all what I had to say about my previous doctor's diagnosis. Told me I just needed to lose weight because I am a woman and don't have what women normally have.

2008. Best Dr I have ever had. She safes my life. Other Dr I saw in Olympia wouldn’t listen. Had very expensive testing.Told wouldn’t do anything til I lost weight. Have thyroid issues. Called DR Otto at suggestion of a friend. Went In for exam, injection type of testing and immediately was taken in for a stent. 95 % blockage. Saved my life. Trust yourself. You know when something is wrong! If you don’t feel you get the right care go somewhere else immediately. She is A VERY qualified and a published Cardiologist. .

Dr. Stewart is a thoughtful, dedicated professional. What I like best is that he's not arrogant. He doesn't come across as a know it all. He's open to ideas other than western medicine, ideas about nutrition, for example. I also like that when I'm there, he treats me like I'm the most important person in the world. He takes the time to really listen and asks important and thoughtful questions. AND, he doesn't try to push cardiac procedures on you unnecessarily, like other cardiologists--he's open to thoughtful, careful monitoring. Plus, his assistant K.T. is on top of everything and returns my calls pronto. I'm grateful to have them on my healthcare team.

By far the worst experience I had with a health care provider. No empathy towards a sick patient. I would not go to see her again and would not recommend her to my friends or family. Completely ignored my symptoms.
