Review of Dr. Stickney

- in Redmond |

Dr. Stickney replaced my right knee in 12/18 and my left knee in 3/19. Both surgeries went very well, and I have zero pain in either knee, and great range of motion, for the first time since the late 1990s. Surgery scars were small and pain was present, but well controlled, for both surgeries. Really, really hit the physical therapy hard, Dr. Stickney said, and your chances of a great outcome are vastly improved. I did as instructed, and even though it came with a lot of tears, things worked out well. My life is back to normal again, thanks to Dr. Stickney. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone for knee replacement surgery!

Review of Dr. Gregush

- in Redmond, WA |

Dr. Ronald Gregush is truly a magician in his field. He conducts himself with the utmost professionalism, in addition to excellent execution, which undeniably sets him above others within the orthopedic field. After years of consulting with numerous doctors, the extensive knowledge and evident expertise of Dr. Gregush was by far the clear choice. I am incredibly happy with the remarkable results that beyond exceeded my expectations. He proved himself to be an expert and would definitely recommend choosing Dr. Gregush as your surgeon! I am currently over a year post-op and can truly say that the results of Dr. Gregush's work changed my life.

Review of Dr. Koo

-

I am really happy to give Dr. Koo 5 stars. I came to Dr. Koo for a very painful case of adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). I saw him after being seen by supposedly the very top (3) docs at the UW Sports Medicine clinic. I should mention that all 3 at the UW brushed me off with codeine to help me sleep at night but told me it would take 2 years to heal and just get used to it. Totally 180 degree difference with Dr. Koo. Through his care I received hydrostatic distention treatment in addition to my physical therapy. By the end of 5 months I was pain free and returned to my full range of motion. Great to back in the land of the living! (btw, the UW docs didn't even order an MRI or PT, I had to get those by my volition. They may be good at other things, but real bozos when it came to actual healing knowledge of shoulders).

Dr. Koo was extremely professional and explained my shoulder procedure. I've recommended several friends to him. His Physician Assistant, Claudia Kotay is likewise very professional and knowledgeable with great interpersonal skills. Both Dr. Koo and Claudia receive my highest ranking and regard!

Review of Dr. Hall

-

I dislocated and broke my left ankle in three places on Friday, February 1, 2019. The ER at Providence Everett set the dislocation and sent me on my way with instructions to call to set an appointment to meet with an Orthopedic Surgeon the coming Monday. We were experiencing snow during that time and there were no surgeons at Providence available for me to speak with or schedule an appointment. I was in a tremendous amount of pain and out of pain medication from the ER so I was desperate to find a Doctor who could see me. My wife suggested I call ProOrtho so I did and got in touch with Meagan. She set an appointment for me the next morning with Dr. Jonathan Hall and I am so grateful that she did. I met with Dr. Jonathan Hall and he assured me that I would be taken care of and that I was "In the system now". Dr. Hall performed surgery on my ankle and installed 2 plates and 13 screws. After that I came in for progress sessions and X-Rays to insure that everything was healing properly

Review of Dr. Koo

-

Dr. Koo performed surgery on my shoulder in February of 2018. I still have shoulder pain and reduced mobility, and expect that will be true for the rest of my life. After I had an MRI, Dr. Koo diagnosed me as having a torn rotator cuff. He was confident he could repair it, and told me I would be able to do everything I used to do. During surgery he saw that it was a partial-thickness tear rather than a full-thickness tear, so he opted to leave it alone. Instead he detached my biceps tendon and reattached it in a different location, which he thought would alleviate my symptoms. After six months of painful rehab, I was still having pain in my shoulder; not as bad as before, but enough that it prevented me from doing the things I used to do. Dr. Koo ordered another MRI, and said my rotator cuff looked the same. He asked if the pain was so bad that it interfered with my sleep. I said it was not, and he seemed to regard that as a success. He said there were no guarantees with surgery.

Review of Dr. Koo

-

When I thought I might need shoulder surgery I really did my homework! I chose Dr. Koo based on what I learned. I don't think I could have made a better choice. He fully explained why I needed a shoulder replacement and answered all my questions. He's an EXCELLEMT surgeon! BONUS, he accepts Medicare as do the anesthiologists he uses. He was specific as to what my physical therapist should do during my recovery. His PA-C Claudia Kalotay is also exceptional.
