I continue to have nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Haddock. As a retired physician myself I judge both his knowledge of medicine and his ability to think outside the box as exemplary. Also, his interpersonal skills are very strong so I look forward to visits and I always learn something important about the conditions with which I am challenged.

Physician Assistant (PA)
The medical aspects of Rick's practice, such as running tests, innoculations, etc., are thorough, appropriate and timely, as one should expect from a doctor. However, his personality sets him well ahead of the hoi polloi of the medico. He listens. The resulting treatments dovetail with his patient's abilities, intellect, finances and life style. He is not judgmental. His manner is amicable, warm-hearted and gracious. His sense of humor is delightful and disarming. He is a true healer.

Review for Amy Denis, FNP
Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
I would highly recommend Amy Denis to family and friends. She is the best health care professional in her field, and I feel honored to have her as my health care provider. She is one of a kind. She literally saved my life and continues to go "above and beyond", exceeding all others as she continues to provide me with all my health care needs. If you are searching for a health care professional, you need look no further. Amy is the epitome of nurse practitioners!

Rude and unkind staff and coworkers, horrendous Doctor, lacking compassion and empathy. Rarely does referrals to other Doctors, or will refuse to help. I have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness Dr. Trout missed completely and told me I was "just being sensitive" when I came to her with failing joints and chronic pain.

Dr. Trout is the most wonderful health care partner a patient can have. She looks you in the eye to get to really know you and your holistic needs. She spots things I had not even considered. She studies your chart in advance of the visit so time with her is all about me and my overall health. I am most fortunate to have found this primary care doctor and look forward to aging well with her at my side.

I feel that Dr. Trout is, for the most part, technically proficient, but DEFICIENT and neglectful in communicating with her patient. She also missed the correct diagnosis of a skin infection I developed from some kind of insect bite, and the medication she RX'ed not only did no good, but allowed the infection to spread from my back all the way down my leg. (I cleared it up myself using a cream I ordered from the Vermont Country Store.)

I'm in the process of finding a new PCP due to several bad experiences with Dr. Haddock and his staff which include scheduling mix-ups, misinformation provided, extensive wait times to get an appointment, and a lack of any helpful health guidance. I recently called to speak directly to Doctor Haddock and was denied. My experiences have been anything but patient-centric and I've finally had enough frustrations to write about it. I hope this informs others of what to expect.

Review for Amy Denis, FNP
Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
Amy is unequivocally the best there is. She really listens, is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and truly cares about her patients. I was fortunate to be scheduled with her one day last summer as my primary care was not available, and I am at the point in my life, where seeing someone new is something I would rather not have to do. Having said that; however, agreeing to see her was the best choice I made. I now refuse to see anyone but Amy. She is always beside me every step of the way
