Great doctor who made sure I was put in a room when he knew he was running 45 minutes behind. It wasn’t rushed and I had time to calm. I was informed well of everything

He did my emergency bowel blockage surgery And did a great job excellent surgeon excellent bedside manner really caring doctor in person would recommend him to anyone having surgery also all the office visits were scheduled at one time very caring staff also

Dr. Dempah treated my husband for an emergency severe life-threatening abnominal infection. He was attentive, thorough and handled the emergency with the utmost professionalism. Along the way, he was compassionate and had a sense of humor which he shared to relieve our tension.

Dr Durham is the best ! He and his staff seem like they really care. Several family members see him as well. So much knowledge and experience.

I did not have a good experience with this doctor. He did not communicate well with me even though I showed concern about the procedures he wanted to perform. Very unprofessional. His nurse, Shamika, was rude and unpleasant. I do not recommend this doctor.

I broken and dislocated my shoulder in September 2021. After several unsuccessful attempts in getting it back into joint at the free standing ER in Cave Spring, I was transported to the ER at Lewis Gale, where I was greeted by Dr. Hakanson. Her bedside manner and laughter, definitely kept my spirits up during the stressful time. She explained exactly what they would be doing once they took me to the OR and that she would take very good care of me. My only regret was that I had taken blood thinners (because the urgent care doc the prior evening thought my issues was a blood clot) and she was unable to perform the necessary surgery that I needed to repair the break. I am now in the unfortunate situation that I need to have a meniscus repair and I will be seeing her next week to discuss. I would not hesitate to have Dr. Hakanson take care of any joint related needs. She is TOP NOTCH!

Great Doctor, Surgeon and Man. I have to thank God Dr. Dempah was the surgeon who operated on my wife. He talked me through every step. He is a normal person who happens to be a skilled surgeon. My wife was so sick that one surgeon refused to operate on her. Dr Dempah, so I was told, would take on cases other Drs would not. He explained everything in such a way as I understood him. He was compassionate and caring. He is the kind of guy you could be friends with. Could not be more pleased with what he has done for us.

Dr. Patterson called right after my mom’s surgery and left a detailed message about the surgery. I was disappointed that I missed his call. Then he called back later because he said he wanted to make sure I received his message and see if I had any questions. He was very patient and kind and took the time to answer all my questions.

He has horrible people skills, as does his nurse. He has an overly paternalistic attitude and didn't attempt to explain anything. I will NEVER go back to this doctor.

After my second round of cortisone shots in both knees, I called the office to tell the nurse I was having pain and swelling in my right knee and I thought I had injured it. He told me I couldn’t be seen for 8 days and to take ibuprofen and ice my knee. I had to take 600 mgs of ibuprofen 3 times a day because the pain was so bad. At my appointment I conveyed all of this to the nurse and he said, “I’m going to say “mostly pain in the right knee.” I told him there was no pain in my left knee. When Dr Durham came in, he never looked at my knee or had a conversation with me about the issue, it was a one way conversation and he said he was scheduling hyaluronic injections if my insurance would cover it in both knees. Two days after my appointment my knee made a popping sound and I felt immediate relief. I called and cancelled the injections and told Sarah why. No calls back from his office. So I called again,no call back. Dislocated knee cap? Perhaps. Disgusted and will never go back.

Christina was our MA today. She was absolutely wonderful, informative, friendly, so caring that I am overwhelmed by her compassion. Dr Asamoah was informative, prepared, had a plan, was confident and we are blessed! Thank you both! I remain scared, but we are in good hands!

Dr. Patterson performed a total hip replacement for me. He had an excellent bedside manner and explained patiently the procedure to me. My outcome was excellent! I was walking quickly. I definitely recommend Dr. Patterson!

I was coming in as a new patient, Dr, Raza's staff was very nice. He was an absolute jerk!!!!! I have never been treated with such disrespect and rudeness that this man showed me as a new patient. I asked him for a referral to a specialist and he refused and said that wasn't his job!!!! I needed to call and make my own appts. After being humiliated and insulted, I walked out. This man is very unhappy. I have never seen a doctor be so rude and so inconsiderate. He has some real issues. I don't know how anyone could ever use him as a doctor.

I had broke my wrist and I came to him and he was very professional and has a great bed side manor.

Doctor had a seminar I attended and I was very impressed with his knowledge. He answered everyone’s questions in a friendly and thorough manner. If I need a doctor he’s the one I want.

Dr. Durham provided expert advice about a hip replacement and he has the best, caring staff ever. I definitely recommend

Always great! Dr. Weiserbs has been my Gastro doc for the past few years. I don't understand the negative reviews here but I have UC and the treatment for me is a little more predictable. If you disagree with his diagnosis, always get a second opinion. There is a shortage of Gastro docs here in Roanoke, VA. He is by far one of my favorites. My issue is with the office staff answering phones or returning calls. For me, that is what needs improvement.

Dr. Delaney was very condescending and lectured my wife and I about parenting. He felt as though his decisions were what is best for our child. At one point when we told him we do not take medication and our son will not be either (unless absolutely necessary) he said "at 2 AM when your son is crying you will be giving him Ty1eno1". We also disagreed on certain vaccinations and Dr. Delaney yet again became very rude. We provided facts for him, but he did not care. He proceeded to talk to us as if we were children. During this same conversation we had opted for oral V. K rather than the traditional injection. Dr. Delaney proceeded to tell us "if we want our child to die of a brain bleed then that was our prerogative". I would not recommend Dr. Delaney if you are a parent who does research and prefers to question doctors at times. Dr. Delaney does not handle this situation well and wants you as the parent to just do what he says.

Very good visit. Dr. Raza is very thorough and has a great bed side manner.

Alisha provides OUTSTANDING cardiology services! She has amazing bedside manner, performs very thorough exams, is so knowledgeable, and is always willing to consider multiple etiologies and treatment approaches. We are so thankful for her care of my grandfather. Highly recommend!
