Anti Depressants first, Parents second, Listening to Patients third. DR tried to treat what my parents wanted w/o ever listening to me, 21 now and I have to do it all myself. Doesnt explain pros and cons, have to ask for the specific kinds of meds I want, treated me like I was med seeking for using diagnosis words to explain my experiences. My diagnosis comes with memory issues, he emailed me an appointment link once in 2020 and expected me to keep perfect track on my own. I feel like a cash cow on missed appointments- he doesn't even re-send the link. Complete radio silence before the appointment. I Am Doing All The Heavy Lifting. No follow up, no appointment reminders whatsoever. Patient First is my best friend. I wish he'd just give me refills, or would have some sort of easy "refill only" option. He's part of why I had given up on ever feeling better.

ZERO STARS: My child and I had a telephone call with Kathleen Casey. She was extremely rude and dismissive to my child about his depression. She DID NOT listen and became FRUSTRATED with him when he couldn't verbalize EXACTLY why he felt the way he did. She TOLD him how he felt and boiled it down to needing fresh air. After she spoke with him, she didn't even pass the call back to me to talk to ME about what they spoke about! It was his first experience with therapy and now he is more closed off than ever with talking about his struggles.

Dr. Segall is a lifesaver. He's funny and personable and makes you feel comfortable from the get go. He is very responsive to emails and offers telehealth appointments. Finding a psychiatrist you can trust is not easy and can take years. So grateful to have found Dr. Segall after a few bad experiences. It can take a few weeks to get an appointment with him, but I know to plan ahead for that. Highly recommend.

Dr. Segall is caring and responsive. He listens to what is going on in my life, makes constructive comments and remembers what I have told him from one appointment to the next. He responds to emails and voicemails in a timely manner. I have been seeing him for nearly 10 years and I dread the day he decides to retire. I am grateful every day to have him for a doctor

This guy is a piece of work. Brought my teenaged son to him after a night at FFX hospital and he basically scoffed at my sons problems and offered zero connection or help. I’ve met more friendly and effective gas station attendants.

Major creep. I took my kid out of his practice. Very unprofessional and shared personal information. I pulled my kid out and put him into another good doctors care. My child detested this odd and strange man. Do not bring your child to this weirdo.

I went to Dr. Mcmurrer for nearly 10 years and had a positive experience up until this past year. One day I told him my GRE scores for graduate applications and he replies “I don’t mean to hurt your feelings but I don’t think you have the intellectual capacity to become a ______.” Uncalled for and so insulting. You are a psychiatrist and your job is to help people move forward, not back. I’m glad you didn’t say this to me when I was 15 and more vulnerable.

I have been seeing Dr. Segall for many years. He is an excellent doctor who listens to what I am saying and prescribes recommendations and medications accordingly. He has been very helpful. He is very responsive to appointment requests via email - even on his holiday. He usually schedules at least a month out, so make your appointment in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Forgot to take notes during the intake and asked to "recap" at the next session. Was consistently more than 15 minutes late to every appointment, yet ended appointments on time. When asked about his inability to stick to established appointment timeframes, Pachter said "I'm not an on time kind of guy." My advice for potential patients is to keep looking for a more professional provider.

While Dr. Segall is very helpful when you see him, it is almost impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. Even when the issue is urgent it can take over 4 weeks to schedule.

Perhaps the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a medical professional. Ironically, even though he is a psychiatrist, he is completely incapable of understanding the pain and frustration a parent feels when his or her child is suffering. He is inflexible, arrogant and the most callous medical practitioner I have ever seen. If there were more space here, I would provide the details. Avoid this practitioner at all costs.
