Rude. Doesn't take the time
I wish I could leave a review for Dr. Pfeffer and her staff separately. I love Dr. Pfeffer. She is fabulous! She has a great bedside manner, spends time, truly cares, and tries to figure out the problem. I would give her a 5.
Her staff is the reason for the 1. Rudest staff I've ever dealt with! Considering finding a new doctor just so I don't have to deal with them anymore. I don't need to be treated like crap when the fault was completely theirs and something that didn't need to be a big deal.
Called several times during office hours and got message saying office was closed. Finally left a message with scheduling voice mail to ask to reschedule upcoming consultation. Never heard back. Called back on day of original appointment to make sure they got message. Waited on hold for over 20 minutes. No apology - it was a good thing we have unlimited talk time on our cell plan. They had transcribed message wrong and thought I was calling back in several months to reschedule. Not impressed.
Her office staff is not well organized. Billing is nearly impossible to reach and they did not submit all bills to the insurance. The scheduling staff has a difficult time looking up appointment and has to be asked multiple times if they are sure because the date and times do not match the original appointment. The scheduling office can not reach or connect you to the billing office and they will not commit to have the billing office get back to you in 24 hours even though it is a Tuesday.
We are two pulmonary and sleep specialists. Dr. Gregory Dupont treats adults and Dr. Kathleen Pfeffer treats children.
