I left the clinic crying.
I went to Dr. Vera Carlson about a year ago to get recommendations for birth control and it was the worst medical experience of my life. She gave out-dated information about IUDs, saying that they pose a risk for women who haven't had children. (That's out-dated information.) She also wasn't very understanding about my want to adopt children nor was she sensitive about my genetic possible pre-disposition.
I've had bad experiences with several doctors in the past 10 years. I'm very cynical because of that. She has won my trust.
Very professional listens explains everything clearly has (very good bedside manner?) I am very glad to have Dr. Carlson as my son's primary care Dr. =-)
