Review of Dr. Vasquez

-

Dr. Vasquez said, "Dear patient, first I would like you to inform yourself what a Rheumatologist is". Yes sir, I know. I was referred to you by my GP. Dr. Vasquez said, "I remember we asked you If you had visited a dermatology clinic and you said no". As I told you, twice, I started with my dermatologist, who told me to go to my GP, who referred me to you. But I do want to thank you for examining me AFTER you told me my itchy, burning scalp and hair loss were not serious enough to treat now.

Had a great visit with Dr. Vasquez. Office was super nice and didn't have to wait an excessive amount of time. He seems like he genuinely cares about making you feel better, too. Helped a lot with my pain that many other doctors I went to couldn't figure out. I trust him completely!

First: Before the visit, the secretary told me it would be copay + 20%, which was fine. At the end of the visit, they said it was copay + 100%. So approximately $100 became $400 out of pocket, immediately. Dr. Vasquez didn't listen to my symptoms well, or seem to care. His "exam" (jerking/moving my hands around painfully) caused me to leave worse than before. No recommendations given. Last, they failed to send labs/x-rays to my doctor after 2 requests. I'm getting a referral to another doctor.

Review of Dr. Graves

- in Tyler, TX |

I've seen Dr. Graves & his staff for last 12 months. When I need to visit him for urgent services, his staff eagerly & respectfully find an appointment time for me. His medical expertise, thought process, & active listener style make for a trusting relationship. He is extremely thorough, kind, compassionate, & allows you to participate in your healthcare. He's current on new procedures & medications. He & his staff continue to strive for perfectionism: all for patient-centered care.

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis & was referred to Dr. Graves. We walked into the exam room, I saw a sign saying"Need Prayer? Just ask Dr. Graves" (which I did ask for), he was very thorough, very understanding of the pain that I was in & understood how long I've dealing with the pain. He completed my exam, explained his treatment plan for me & then asked for my hand to pray for me. I can tell you that I've never had a doctor that cares like he does & takes the time to actually pray for me!

Review of Dr. Vasquez

I saw Dr. Vasquez for the first time about a month ago and had follow up today. The office is very nice, the staff are equally competent and friendly and Dr. Vasquez is very thorough. He did several diagnostic tests to pinpoint my problems and have me an injection for my painful shoulder. The next day most of that pain was gone! You will be well taken care of, I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. graves. i only saw him 1 time. he looked over my medical record, while i explained my medical issues. never looked at me and then sent me for labs. i got a call from the nurse telling me my labs came back normal. and to call if i wanted a follow up appt. i logged onto my chart and saw that he diagnosed me with Somitization disorder & raynauds. if he would have looked at me he would have seen my swelling, hot & cold intolerance, red, blue and grey colored skin and pain. thanks
