I am in the medical field and have to say I am very impressed with Dr.Abigail Barrera and her staff. I tend to be needy sometimes and want an immediate answer when it comes to questions about my care via phone or by portal. There response is always delivered in a timely manner. Dr Barrera’s bedside manner is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and comforting. Keep up the good work!

Dr. Barerra is incredibly intelligent, and has a caring, loving bedside manner. She is sincerely committed to helping her patients reach optimal health. She has taken care of my Mom and Dad for 20+ years. I highly recommend her as your physician!

Worst nursing staff, called 3 weeks ago to schedule an appointment for a quick job (Usaa) health assessment.
Told for something like that an appointment isn't required, just fast and come on early in the morning.
3wks later I arrive at 8am, wait 50 mins to be seen (mind you, I haven't ate or drank anything)
Finally get taken back, and told after I handed her the form, that since im a "walk in" they won't be able to complete this... !!!
I said I was told I didn't need an appointment to get this

My review is for the staff. I feel like I was treated very badly. Not only do they lack good communication skills but they should have better health care customer service. They left me on hold for 35 minutes and I have the pictures to prove it. I can write an essay based on the service here that's how dedicated I am on getting my point across, I even posted my review along with a picture of the hold time. I just want to make people aware of this behavior. Sad that the staff can make a huge diff

My mom has insisted on seeing Dr. Barrera for years and refuses to see anyone else. I was actually off the last time she had an apt scheduled so I took her. I now understand why my mom loves this doctor. Dr. Barrera is extremely patient and her genuine care showed through. I am completely amazed with how she didn't dismiss my mom because she has a hard time hearing. Dr. Barrera is wonderful!!!

my main reason for liking Dr. Barrera - she doesn't treat me for my age (senior) she treats me as an individual. 2nd reason she take time to explain the why or why not I should be doing and makes suggestion on how to avoid future health issues.
