Very unprofessional, no consideration of your time, pain management, etc. Staff is subpar. If not for the affiliation with the ER that forced this practice on me, I would suggest going ANYWHERE ELSE!

I had a good experience with Dr. Muncy except for a long wait time. I am a retired nurse and don't like being rushed which was my previous experience with another ortho. He explained my condition and offers conservative care which is what I wanted. Amelia was very sweet and took my previous x-ray reports so one was not necessary. Imand will order my gel and was efficient. If I have any criticism it would be the check-in wait time. There were 2 ladies working upon my arrival but never got up to help me so I stood and waited for a lady to come. That doesn't make you feel welcome. I will continue to see Dr. Muncy because he listened and spent time with me rather than rushing out the door. I understand Drs. are busy then don't schedule 5 people at the same time.

My surgery went perfectly and healed far more quickly [than other hip does by terrible OTHER doctor]. Dr Muncy’s replacement has made hip stay ‘unnoticeable’ (that’s good; means it feels and works as real hip would)!

I am very happy with Dr. Muncy. He is very caring, knowledgeable, professional, and sweet. I came in with a lot of pain, he gave me an injection, and good bye pain. To date I have been painless thanks to Dr. Muncy.

Dr Muncy did a right anterior replacement on me in Dec 2016. My recovery was very quick and uneventfully. From the first visit through my last he and his staff work to make sure everything goes smooth. I have referred several people to him and all of them were very happy as well.

Dr. Muncy is an excellent surgeon. I could not ask for a better surgery and operating outcome. However, his North Richland Hills staff his flippant and uncooperative when it comes to medication requests. They have adopted a don't call us we'll call you attitude. I have exhausted my pain meds after three days of requests and still waiting for a response. I have even recruited an Encompass Health nurse in an appeal for a response. My only recourse is to enlist my wife to personally pay their office a visit and raise hell today.

Dr. Muncy and his team have provided excellent care to me and made extra efforts to make the worker's comp process as seamless as possible. I really appreciate Shiela and Jenny putting in extra care to help get me set up and taken care of. Great staff and office overall!

Dr. Muncy told me hip replacement revisions were hard and to let it fail. That tells me even though his bio says he does revisions, he has little experience in them and doesn't like to do them. Failing is not an option. Failing means emergency surgery. Failing means the bones can break. Failing means you actually do fail and can break other bones in your body. Failing means living with terrible pain until the implant fails. Failing can mean your hip can never be fixed and you will be an cripple in a wheel chair until the day you die. No thank you.

I was referred to Dr Muncy when I asked my primary care physician, Amanda Muir, MD, for an orthopedic surgeon to do my hip joint replacement. I was thoroughly checked by both the PA(I hope I am not offending her by the incorrect title) and Dr Muncy. I was treated intelligently which is not always true with some doctors. I will definitely schedule my surgery with Dr Muncy and am certain I will have the best results possible.

Dr. Muncy verified what i already knew. That i needed a hip replacement(i'd already had the right hip done). I explained that i had a cruise coming up in April and any surgery would have to wait until i returned. He was very understanding and recommended an injection for my hip to get me though until my surgery. Had the injection in his office and never felt a thing. Hip is doing better and i expect a great cruise. Thanks Dr. Muncy and the staff of Elite Orthopedics of North Hills.

I have had both hips and right knee replaced by Dr. Muncy. He and his staff have always been professional and courteous to my and my family’s needs. Always listening to questions and concerns, and explaining the procedures. I look forward to get the left knee done in the fall. Jim Arlington, Tx.

I first met Dr. Muncy a few years ago when he did a hip replacement for a dear friend. She has recovered wonderfully! Sure enough, I began having horrible hip pain about 2 years ago, and once I decided to seek treatment, I immediatetly contacted his office for advice. He has been a gem! The hip is getting better with his help. He is very kind shows genuine interest in well being and treatment of his patients. I will have told everyone I know about his "miracle work"!

Dr Muncy performed a Core Decompression 4/19/18 on my left hip Dx Avasular Necrosis as of today 2/18/19 I still have hip pain and my Left hip is extremely swollen to the point where I can see a fluid buildup / fluid pocket He totally dismissed my concerns and said it was “my optical illusion” he also said several time he didn’t know what was causing my hip to be swollen and it had nothing to do with my surgery. He offered NO treatment options or a solution to my swollen hip!!!

Dr. Muncy was straight forward in explaining the surgical procedures that were available. I had done some research on the GPS knee replacement procedure. He took the time to explain the entire procedure, answer any questions and discussed long term results I could expect.

Doctor Muncy he is a wonderful doctor, He cares, he listens. Myself my son and wife we are very happy with him and his staff.

Best doctor around. He did both of my knees and I couldn't be happier. He takes the time to really listen to your concerns and work with you to get a satisfactory result.

Dr. Muncy and his entire team are amazing! They truly care about their patients and make every effort to ensure that your experience is first class! The staff is courteous and professional and Dr. Muncy takes the time to listen and fully explain everything that’s going on.

When I got to Dr Muncy office for my 1st visit I was treated very well by staff . I did not have a long wait. The nurse was GREAT and very understanding .Dr. Muncy was Awesome he ask " what can I do for you?" which I thought was AWESOME! I would recommend anyone that need an Orthopedic Surgeon to check out Dr. Muncy and his staff. They are GREAT to work with.

After much research for a orthopaedic surgeon, I chose Dr. Muncy and was pleased in my decision for my total knee replacement. The office and Jenny that handles the surgery dates and all testing was great in helping with all information needed. Also very pleased with the health portal online that was available. SHARON.
