Review of Dr. Yoo

-

I have struggled with intermittent heart irregularities for about 15 years. Until recently that was controlled with medication and an ablation for atrial flutter last August. Then, in October I began to have issues with a pulse around 30. I decided to switch to Dr. Yoo after my previous doctors had seemed stuck about a long term solution. One visit to the office was enough to convince me Dr. Yoo and his staff, to include tech reps, could help me. He has the best front office and staff I've ever seen. So helpful. Katrina, the scheduler is incredible. Dr. Yoo recommended I have an insertable loop monitor installed. Thank God for no more Holter Monitor! Within two weeks of data they had the information they needed and I now have a pacemaker. I feel great and am able to lead a normal life to include lots of gym time and biking. Hats off to the folks at Medical City and the OR staff too. I highly recommend Dr. Yoo if you are having electrical heart issues.

Xconsistently runs late in office. Didn't get insurance authorization until afternoon on day of surgery, delaying 9a to 5:30p start.

Dr Yoo worked with me and treated 9 sites in my hart instead of the internet noted 4 with the possibility of a second procedure being needed. Avoiding a second procedure / recovery and stopping my A-fib so I stopped taking blood thinners greatly improved my quality of life. I have the up most confidence in Dr Yoo as he continues to manage my hart and blood needs.

Dr. Yoo is GREAT!!! He has been treating me for several years now, and the A-Fib ablation that he performed on my was successful the first time and eliminated my A-Fib episodes. He is always very kind and takes his time to explain my test results and what he believes the best treatment(s) are for my heart conditions. I appreciate him very much, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good EP doctor. Thank you Dr. Yoo!!!

Amazing physician. Always takes care of me when my heart decides to misbehave. Very responsive and actually works with me to develop a treatment plan. I appreciate that he understands his patients are not cookie cutter and everyone needs an individual treatment plan. I would never let anyone else take care of me.

Dr. Yoo comes amazingly prepared for every appointment. I will always remember my first appointment, where he knew my medical chart well; and, he answered my questions before I could even form them. I trust his advice, because he is sincere and very knowledgeable.
