Review of Dr. Mittal

Dr.Mittal was nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He addressed my concerns and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Mittal's staff on the other hand were rude, uncaring, and sarcastic. Also, they discuss other patients concerns in front of other patients. I may not continue to see Dr. Mittal because of how uncomfortable his staff made me.

Office does not return calls and doctor has awful bedside manor. Very rude. When telling someone they have two weeks to live, you do it with kindness. You don't wave your hands around irritated and say "I'm done! Do you understand? Are you getting it? Do you understand what I'm saying? I don't shake hands." If a terminally ill patient misses an appointment you don't chastise them. You know they're sick. You should be calling concerned and offering assistance.

My husband started seeing Dr. Mittal a few months ago. Not enough time to determine whether the doctor will help him or not. However, we have had a few issues with his office staff. They do not return calls and right now my husband has ran out of his medicine because of that and we cannot get the staff to contact the pharmacy. I wouldn't think it's good to interrupt the therapy so I'm looking forward to see what Dr. Mittal thinks when we see him next.

Review of Dr. Jaffar

- in San Antonio, TX |

Thus doctor nor his nurse practitioner never even examined me!!! I saw this doctor for the first time for lymphoma (which causes enlarged lymph nodes!!) and there was NO physical exam. How can a physician tell what is abnormal for a specific patient if NO baseline exam is done. I can not trust this physician with decisions concerning my life and am going to find a different physician!!!!

Review of Dr. Jaffar

- in San Antonio, TX |

Toward the end of my treatment, saw Dr Jaffer maybe three times over 7 was, I got really ill. My efforts to see or talk to Dr Jaffer were for naught. Twice I called to talk to him and first time talked to another dr who said if you are that sick go to er next time Jaffer would not talk to me but instead yelled to nurse to tell me to go to a gastrologist. He did not contact me when I ended up in the hospital even though he knew I was there. that was in summer of 2014 and I still have problems
