Review of Dr. Toy

- in N. Richland Hills, TX |

My first visit with Dr. Toy was great. He was very thorough, kind, and took time with me. He outlined a plan to help me with my back and neck. I appreciate that he is starting with with non invasive measures, such as therapy and some medication to help with my pain. I know that I will improve under his care. I highly recommend Dr. Toy.

I was referred to Dr. Toy’s office by my primary physician after discovering I had a herniated disc at c6 and c7. Upon my first appointment, the staff was extremely welcoming. When Dr. Toy came in he discussed the different options and I decided to do the surgery. I am currently three weeks out and feel 80% my old self. My incision is hardly noticeable. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Toy and his staff have been extremely caring and supportive.

Review of Dr. Toy

My sciatic nerve pain existed for 6 months with no relief. My family doctor recommended Dr. Toy and that was a blessing. He proved to be as conservative as possible by having me get an x-ray, MRI and Cat scan. I went to physical therapy four times until I was told by the therapist that this was not helping me. The pain would not stop. The last resort was surgery. He had to remove bone from the spine so that the spinal fluid would have continual flow. Excellent results! No more pain!

Saw Dr. Toy about my Spinal Stenosis. Couldn't walk more than 20 yards. Body went stone dead from the belt line down. Dr. Toy performed a Laminectomy and L4-L5 fusion. Three weeks later I'm walking half a mile twice a day with no pain and lower extremities have feeling again. Been released to go back to my desk job. Dr. and staff are excellent!

Dr Toy was the most caring and compassionate Dr I ever had the pleasure to meet, beside being a skilled and talented Surgeon . My Husband was in terrible condition and hardly able to walk Dr Toy has helped him get on his way to having a more satisfying and active life. He helped him when other Doctors could not. I would recommend him with highest confidence

Kind, caring physician, who listens to patients. Dr. Toy uses surgery as a last resort, opting to exhaust all non-invasive solutions first. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Toy and would recommend him to anyone having spinal problems.
