Review of Dr. Coats

- in Austin, TX |

Dr Coats, my Primary Care Dr for yrs (selected by ins. co) is impatient; spends 15 min per visit; doesn't listen to description of symptoms, cuts me off mid-sentence; and mis-represents info as she voice records notes . Luckily other specialists stepped in to advocate for my health. I've had many health issues, some with lifelong implications but she is not interested in truly solving health challenges, she just wants the patient in front of her to disappear. Condescending manner. Avoid.

Review of Dr. MacClements

- in Austin, TX |

I've been seeing Dr. MacClements for over a year as my PCP Internist. His thoroughness and bedside manner are outstanding!! I have only had excellent experiences with Dr. MacClements and his office. I am so glad I left my last Doctor and trusted my friend from Tyler who always went to him when his practice was in Tyler. The waiting room is nice. It is easy to call to schedule, talk to a nurse, get refills, etc. Teaching Doctors are the BEST! He only sees patients on Mondays and Thursdays.

Review of Dr. Trevino

-

Dr Trevino did a "favor" for my regular gastroenterologist by slipping me in for a procedure that he did not perform, but she does. She did a very good job on the procedure but, due to the fact that I was not a regular patient, she was almost impossible to reach to get any information afterwards. My regular dr was out of the country for the week after my procedure so I could not directly speak with him. I left repeated messages with her great schedular. But did not return my calls.

Review of Dr. Coats

- in San Antonio |

I was a patient of Dr. Coats for some 18 years and would still be if I hadn't moved from Austin. I can't say enough about Dr. Coats and her entire medical staff. She and Candace Ashton, APRN & Jeanette Bettes, PA are so knowledgeable, helpful, & compassionate. The office is run very efficiently and rarely did I have to wait longer than a few minutes to meet with them. Once in the exam room, they always took such time to listen and then to come up with a treatment plan. They're super!

Review of Dr. Douglass

-Austin, TX |

I couldn't ask for more in a physician when it comes to Dr. Douglass. She is knowledgable, friendly, honest and welcoming. I feel she has a sincere concern for my health and well-being. I appreciate her honest, professional-yet-relaxed approach to healthcare. Her staff has always been a delight. I've never had any real difficulty scheduling an appointment to see her when needed, and the office wait time is minimal. I'd truly recommend Dr. Douglass to anyone requiring her specialty.

Review of Dr. El Bejjani

-WIMBERLEY |

Visited once. I am a senior with chronic pain and a long term disease. She refuses to treat for pain even though my chronic pain is a result of my disease. She did prescribe a new medicine for my disease and though she had full list of my medications, failed to warn me: interactions with prescriptions I take. The result was a dangerous drop in blood pressure which almost required hospitalization. I did my own research and discovered the drug interactions, then called my cardiologist to adjust.

Review of Dr. Coats

- in Austin |

15 years ago, Dr. Coats was an outstanding physician. She listened, connected, and understood her patients' needs. Unfortunately, she's now phoning it in. She doesn't listen. Cannot locate records, her office is a shambles and communication is almost non existent. I realize medicine is now de-personalized, but this is a scary joke. I'd look elsewhere.

Review of Dr. Taylor

-Austin, TX |

Dr. Taylor listens very well and answers all of my questions thoroughly in a manner that is clear to me. He explains treatment options and I am included in all of my treatment options unlike some physicians who tell you what to do without your participation. Dr. Taylor considers me a whole person not just an endocrinology patient.

Highly professional and easy to speak to. She will answer any questions you have. Her scheduling team is excellent and the nurses at Dell hospital who help with the procedures are fabulous. All in all a perfect experience!
