Review of Dr. Sargent

-Austin, TX |

Absolutely terrible doctor with a terrible bedside manner. I’m not sure how she even got a job. She came in the room, “checked” my eyes, and walked out, all in less than five minutes. She didn’t formally introduce herself or anything. She didn’t even say, “do you have any questions?” Literally the worst. DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH HER! The eye technicians on the other hand were extremely nice and helpful. Anyways don’t waste your time and money here.

Review of Dr. Sargent

-

My encounters with K. Sargent, M.D. left me with the same negative impressions reported by others. In June, 2018 I scheduled an appointment to get an RX for eyeglasses. She said I had cataracts requiring surgery, and did not write the prescription. Then, she asked if I were ready to sign up to do both eyes! The prescription I later got from the office was minimal and scribbled. When holding on the phone, Texan Eye urges you to get cataract surgery, clearly their profit motive. Unconscionable!

Review of Dr. Sargent

- in TX |

Kristin Sargent ruined my eyesight. Her lack of medical skill and inability to provide full information prior to the surgeries resulted in two failed cataract surgeries. She and Texan Eye function as a factory and the rush you through the system. Sargent doesn’t even take time to read your charts so she is even less involved in your case let alone when there are problems.

Review of Dr. Sargent

-Austin, TX |

Dr. Kristin Sargent was the worst! I came in to see her with my mom. She came came in didn't introduce herself, she rushed through the exam, gave me a diagnosis and let me out of the room. I felt like we had been thrown out. She never said "do you have any questions?" Worst encounter ever!!! Do not make an appointment with her.

Review of Dr. Dell

Great practice. Everything was so easy and thorough. Each visit I was very well taken care of. After the surgery they were very specific in care and made everything easy and smooth. I would recommend seeing Dr. Dell and his practice!

Review of Dr. Sargent

-Austin |

I come from a family of doctors and have a keen understanding of the challenges they face daily, so if I have a subpar interaction with one, I typically attribute it to a stressful day and move on. That said, my encounter with Dr. Sargent was absolutely awful. She didn't introduce herself, didn't shake my hand, rushed through the exam, didn't inform me what my script changes were, and handed me a barely legible script that I needed to call a technician to decipher without saying goodbye. Avoid!

Review of Dr. Loose

- in Austin, TX |

Dr. Loose is very professional as are his assistants and office staff. I never felt he was rushing or rushing me out the door. He took time to answer all my many questions and gave me all my options.

Review of Dr. Keeland

-Austin, TX |

I have been a patient of Dr. Keeland's for well over a decade and choose her originally because of her peer rankings in Best Doctors as one of the top Ophthalmologist's in Austin. She never disappointed and has been incredibly thorough during every instance when I've had a problem or just for an eye exam. I have very high standards for each of my specialists and will only switch Ophthalmologists when she retires.

Review of Dr. Marquis

- in Austin, TX |

My eyes had responded well to RK years ago but had over-corrected. I was back in glasses with progressive lenses. Then it came time for me to have cataract surgery. The surgery went well on each eye and my vision was just shy of 20/20. After 3 years my far vision remains excellent and I do not need reading glasses. Dr Marquis is passionate about his work. After struggling with my vision for years I am truly thankful everyday I had chosen Dr Marquis for my and my near perfect vision.
