I saw Dr. Parviz Kavoussi in 2017 with the hope to get a vasectomy reversal done. The initial visit was good, blood tests were ordered as well as an ultrasound. The blood results were fine but the ultrasound showed growth in both testes and Dr. Kavoussi immediately suggested that it could be cancer and that the only way to know for sure is to perform surgery on both testicles, cut them open, remove the 2mm and 3mm growth in each and send them to a lab for analysis. He offered me a deal to do that at the same time as my vasectomy reversal. At this point, my wife was sitting and crying in his office, being told that I may have cancer. We recorded the whole concersation so we could play back to ourselves what was said. Thank god we didn't rush into the highly invasive and "risky" surgery that was suggested. Instead, we got not one but "three" different opinions from leading urologists, one in Germany and two in Austin. Every other urologist that we saw viewed those same ultrasoun

Dr. Kavoussi was incredibly generous with his time for me. Living across the country, a phone consult was set up quickly so I could discuss my situation and try to find the appropriate course of action. The information he gave me has led me down the right path to finding the answers I need. His entire staff was wonderful and respectful, and I am in their debt for their help. I would recommend Dr. Kavoussi to anyone.

Dr. Kavoussi is the most compassionate physician I've come into contact with, and I've known many. I simply cannot recommend this practice enough. There is no leaving his office with unanswered questions or unaddressed concerns. No matter what you face, Dr. Kavoussi will explain your options in the clearest, most encouraging fashion.
