I have seen Hematologist/Oncologist throughout my diagnosis of a rare disease for twenty years. Dr. Weinthal is the top physician I have seen. He is wonderful, thorough and his bedside manner is extremely professional and compassionate. I would recommend him to any family and/or patient. He is a patient advocate and extremely knowledgable in the field, speaking as a patient I have only progressed in my treatment under his care.
He is a a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing him to manage hematology issues and I am very thankful that he is my doctor. His mind is always working overtime to come up with the best solutions for your care and he is a natural problem solver. Great staff too, Ana and Shelly are very accommodating, sweet, and patient. If my husband ever needed an oncologist or hematologist I would have him see Dr. Gill.
My brother was diagnosed with lung cancer in the hospital. We went to Dr. Liao's at Texas Oncology for his follow-up visit. From the moment we walked in, the lady who greeted us (don't know her name but she officed to the left of the front door), to Kimmie (sp?) who did the paperwork, to the lab tech, and to the two nurses we dealt with, and Dr Liao - all were so loving and warm. This was my first experience in such a situation and they definitely made you feel comfortable and cared for.
WORST DOCTOR-do not make the mistake we did by trusting your childs healthcare needs with him I URGE any parents looking for a good hematologist to look elsewhere .......Dr Weinthal is a terrible doctor with no bedside manor, or compassion for his patients & their families. Our child is terrified of doctors now because of the way he and his staff handled our child. He is by far the worst doctor we have ever experienced !
Upon going to the hospital because of passing out and difficulty breathing I was diagnosed with blood clots on my lungs. The Dr shows up and offers really not any service whatsoever but of coarse charges me for a conciliation. After i got out of the hospital I had to go into his office many times to monitor the blood thinner levels. The receptionist was repeatedly rude to me. I asked every time i was saw him in person about the cause he just dismissed and said that it was probably no big deal
Referred to Dr Liao. Dr Liao explained in detail the problem I was dealing with, the expected outcome, and the necessary test required for a complete diagnosis. Staff was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. Lab technicians were professional. Would recommend.
He is the most uncaring physician in Arlington with zero bedside manner.
Very knowledgeable, compassionate and a great listener.
The day of my family members surgery, Dr. Messing came in before surgery and acted like he had better places to be and was very dismissive to all of her questions. They dropped the ball and took TWO weeks to deliver CT results that could have coordinated care better and during her post op visit they did lab work and MAILED the results.. Which were ABNORMAL!!! Very disappointed with our experience given that Texas Oncology has such a distinguished reputation. Would NOT recommend him!
Dr. Gill has been my doctor for the past 6 years. He has treated me for my multi myeloma and has assisted in helping me find a doctor to preform surgery to correct the two aneurisms in my brain and came to check on me in the hospital due to a stroke. The stroke could have been caused by the drug I was on. I was taken off that medicine and put on a new FDA approved drug for my multi myeloma. I trust Dr. Gill and am thankful he is my doctor.
Dr. Aurora is an absolute delight! He has a strong intellectual and deep understanding of his profession. Dr. Aurora kind, genuine and enthusiastic interaction instills confidence and trust. Besides Dr. Aurora?s extensive education and experience, conversations with him reveal he is very active in continuing education in his field. Highly recommend him!
