Dr. Mittal
in Nashville, TN | 05/22/2017
I have been going to Vanderbilt doctors for nearly 20 years and I have found all of them to be remarkable except for the single exception of Dr. Mittal. I was in ICU at Vanderbilt Medical Center when she saw me and I found her bedside manner to be terrible. She was condescending, dismissive and impatient with me when I was not able to answer her questions fast enough. She practically shouted at me when I could not find the word she was looking for.

Dr. Phibbs
in Nashville, TN | 04/12/2016
Other than waiting 7 months to get in to see her, this Dr. is nothing short of AMAZING. I highly recommend her. She is sympathetic, she is caring and understanding, and most of all she explains thoroughly and answers all questions. She takes her time and has GREAT bedside manner. I am 100% confident with all of her information and suggestions. the wait was frustrating but so worth it.

Dr Mittal was very kind and caring. She took all the time needed and made me feel that I was important! I'm very happy with the care she provided. She was honest about expected outcomes and I look forward to followup visits!

Dr. Lavin
in Dawson Springs, Ky | 08/31/2017
I have been a patient of Dr. Lavin's since 2002. Without this man, I would be completely blind. He took me in from another hospital and saved my vision. He to me is an angel on earth! He knows his stuff and is all about making sure things are like they are supposed to be. He knows who you are and I don't feel like a number to him.

Dr. Davis
in Nashville, TN | 07/27/2017
He's patient and kind. He makes me laugh, which is a true commodity when you're battling PD. Even with a full waiting room, when he gets to me, he treats me like I am the only one in the building. He's an excellent Dr.

Dr. Lavin
02/18/2017
He is incredibly knowledgeable, has a kind personality, and really listens to his patients. I was at my wits end looking all over my local area for a neurologist to help my headaches. I had been to several and none really did much to help me. Then a close friend of mine who was also a doctor at Vanderbilt, sent me to Dr. Lavin. He made such a big difference in my quality of life. I still have migraines, but they are controlled and far fewer.

Dr. Donofrio
in Knoxville, TN | 01/03/2017
It took 5 month to get the first appointment. After the decision was made to do a nerve biopsy , my mother made the appointment for the biopsy in December 2015 and her appointment was June 2016! Dr Donofrio continued to tell my mother that she did NOT have ALS or MS. He said she had neuropathy. We decided to go to Johns Hopkins. She was diagnosed with ALS in less than 2 hours . They did repeat an EMG test but other than that they just looked at Donofrios test results & notes. Devastated
