I did not have a complicated condition that would require me to have many office visits. I had an office visit w/PA and was recommended to have a colonoscopy. The staff at the Austin Endoscopy Center treated me especially well for how poorly I was feeling after prep the night before. I appreciate that Dr Frank called me himself after I had called with a concern during prep.
Dr Hsu is wonderful. He is very caring and always takes time to answer my questions and concerns
Dr. POREDDY IS A GREAT DOCTOR..HE LISTEN AND SUPPORTS HIS PATIENTS.
Very happy with my experience.. Staff, support, everyone was exceptional.
Dr.Godell is great. Very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, focuses on you, always explains things in words you can understand - has stuck with me through 3 resections and, now, with short gut syndrome. He's referred me to the best surgeon and other specialists. He really takes time and makes sure you understand.
Dr. Godell has been my Gastroenterologist for over ten years. He is very professional. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
Dr Frank was highly recommended by my PCP and my surgeon. He is well qualified and continues to provide me with excellent care I recommend him to anyone seeking his specialty.
Dr Godell is very professional, made time for us and our many questions. He seems to be very knowledgeable and caring. I am planning to stick with him.
Doctor Godell is absolutely the best and I highly recommend him but his RN is not helpful or on top of her game. She did not want to be bothered to look up my last med which I described pretty specifically and wanted me to call back when I could tell her the med name? (which I no longer have the bottle for because meds are gone) I have sisters who are nurses and have seen many nurses due to my health problems and she gets the I don't giver a crap participation trophy!
He's ok, but if things don't go smooth for him, you know it.... won't be back to him. Sorry ??
I don't have the words express my feelings adequately. The first time I met Dr. Gagneja was in the hospital 6 or 7 years ago. He has beven my doctor ever since. If it were not for him, I can say I would not be here today. He is very competent and compassionate. I recommend him to everyone I know.
The staff is extremely rude and uncaring. They will yell at you on the phone and try to belittle you. They go out of their way to make you feel stupid. They doctor is rarely if ever seen it is always Nurse Practitioners that handle his case load. They do not listen to the patients needs. They seem to already have their minds setup before they even examine you. Look else where! Beware
Dr Gagneja is really outstanding - he does not lack confidence, which I like a lot. He has the numbers to prove it and can cite them. His success rate with colonoscopies is incredible; I doubt here is anyone in Austin that can top his. This is a seriously competent physician who did his residency at the Cleveland Clinic (arguably one of the finest hospitals in the U.S.) and co-directed the GI fellowship program at MD Anderson, the number one cancer hospital in the US. This guy is in Austin!
Went in with a problem he ran 2 test and a nurse called and said everything looked good. IT'S NOT GOOD I STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM and it seems he doesn't care about trying to find the cause. Take the money and run Dr Frank.
My fourth colonoscopy, and all have been done in a professional, courteous and uneventful manner.
Dr. Robinson is warm, friendly, and thorough. He took time to answer all my questions. His staff is also knowledgeable and friendly. But, don't be in a hurry when you schedule an appointment here. I've had 2 appointments this year and had to wait over 45 minutes both times.
I AM SCHEDULING A PROCEDUREWITH A REFERRAL FROM THIS DR N HIS SPECIALIST EBONY NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT FACILITY USAGE OF $260.00. HOPE I DONT GET MY PROCEDURE MESSED UP BECAUSE IM SPEAKING UP. SHE INSISTS ON GETTING MONEY From ME FIRST THE CO-PAY OF $260.00 N MY INSURANCE HAS ME COVERED SO SHE SAYS OH BY THE WAY DID YOU KNOW U HAVE TO PAY BLDG MONIES CRAZY I HAVE NEVER PD A FACILITY PAYMENT
Dr. Godell was very professional, answered all my questions and took care of my issues. He was not in a hurry like most doctors are usually.
Dr.Poreddy was professional and caring.
I saw this Dr 2xs and had a colonoscopy done. Terrible bed side manner and after my procedure I never heard from the him again. Still suffering with the same problems and seeing other Dr's now. Severe IBS and other health issues that he clearly doesn't fully understand or even care about. If you are in pain and need answers do not waste time/money with him.
Dr Godell is a very personable and likeable Doctor. Probably unknown to him, was that I was charged almost 850.00 out of pocket for a colonoscopy even though I had never received one in 10 years and was overdue. Apparently, when you have stomach problems, it is not covered as routine. I went to see Dr. Goddell in October, because I was not feeling well and wanted to get my digestive issues under control before my total knee replace in Jan. Not able to get appt until 3 days before my surgery
Excellent staff and they are considerate of patient's needs. Dr Frank follows procedures and is professional, without a doubt, one of the best Doctors our family has experienced. Highly recommended.
He's the best.. he's been taking care of me and my crohns colitis for 4 years. And his P A Yulia is great
He shared a lot of knowledge with me and took his time during my office visit.
Recently had a colonoscopy, and Dr. Robinson took the best care of me. No pain, no concerns that weren't completely explained to me. He came in afterwards and gave information regarding procedure and results. Aftercare was also excellent.
Dr. Becker is the best gastro guy around. He has always been easy to talk to and I have been a patient of his for around 20 years. He always has my best interest at high priority. I have moved to a new state and now have to rely on the recommendations of others for a new guy that will not be an easy task
Disappointing follow up He is all about the procedures and not patient care Looking for another doctor
he does a great job on procedures but the office communication leaves a lot to be desired. i have a hard time contacting them,i have to leave a message and they call back when i am not home.
I started using Dr. Frank in 2009. I have had positive experiences with him and the staff. I feel confident with the care I receive.
He is wonderful. He is very caring as well as an excellent physician. I have referred many family members and friends to him.
I had a problem urinating after a procedure and nurse treated me as if I were making it up. Never had a return phone call to address the problem. Never any follow up from tests done. Will not return to this doctor.
Will absolutely NOT take other patients that have seen another Gastro DR before. The most insane absurd thing I have ever heard. And i was not made aware of this at time of booking of my appointment.I was called the day before my appointment and told this.Very unprofessional.
Three years ago I had a colonoscopy procedure with Dr. Hsu. He found three polyps which one of them was aggressive. Nearly about two years before I had the same procedure with doctor who found nothing. I was in doubt and decided to find another doctor. A friend of mine recommended to go to Dr. Hsu, and now I will stay with him for the rest of his carrier or my life. Thank you Doc!
He misdiagnosed me even after I was diagnosed by someone else. He argued with us and refused to accept the obvious and refused to treat me. When the hospital sent him results, he didn't follow up. I had to keep calling him every time I had an emergency room visit. He never seemed concerned.
I never met Dr Poreddy, his nurse is the one I spoke to. They put me on Antibiotics for IBS, when I called to have some more, or to perscribe a antibiotic that i can afford, She never even called back. And I called 6 days ago. Plus I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment, meanwhile,I was in a lot of pain due to IBS. I was not impressed, it is just common courtesy to call back. I will be fighting it with natural cures
He treated me as if I was making up my pain. He told me it was all in head even after he found ulcers and what he said looked to ulcerative colitis. I continued suffering with horrible pain until a different doctor found my appendix had attached itself to my colon and was completely covered in scar tissue and found lesions and more scar tissue on my colon. Two years later I am still in pain, still having BMs of ONLY blood and have a mistrust of gastroenterologists.
