I have been seen in this office twice now. From the moment you walk in until you leave, you are treated with compassion and down to earth care.
Dr. Volz is the nicest doctor I have ever met. It’s not easy to be funny and maintain professionalism but he pulls it off every time. Dr.Volz and his LPN Sophia are living proof that bedside manner isn’t dead. I couldn’t ask for a better visit.

Great Dr. !!!
He came immediately to the E.R. and cleared the food obstruction, to my stomach.
I couldn't keep anything down to my stomach, I felt awful, until he cleared out the blockage.
A tight feeling, while swallowing recurred and my esophagus was stretched again, in a week.
The final exam showed all was good.
Nichole, his nurse, was helpful during this time.
He comes across as a friend, there to help you.
Dr. Michalak is going to do my colonoscopy screening in Jan-2022.

Clinic very busy and long wait times, she had more time for patients when she was at her previous clinic. She is a wonderful doctor however, one of the best in our area. She will be honest, even if it’s difficult to hear. She has an ability to catch and treat what other doctors miss or brush off. Again, the only issue is the clinic she is at- I always dread going there.

He is very hard to get a hold of. You have to leave messages and wait for someone to call back. He doesn't spend much time with you and doesn't explain anything. Seems in a hurry to leave. When you have issues later and try to get a follow up he comes off as irritated and not interested in helping you.

I had to see him more often than expected following the surgery because of complications he could not have anticipated. He is professional and knowledgeable. He stepped in and educated other members of my medical team when necessary. There was never any additional cost to me.

I had a Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery by him in April 2016. He has a great personality, talks to you about your procedure, wonderful bedside manner. Really wants you to have a successful outcome. Will call back if you have issues promptly. The weight loss program at Midlands clinic is excellent. I am just so pleased with my weight loss. I wish I had done it earlier, I was 62 years old when I had it. Thank you Dr. Vollstedt.
