My Granddaughter is a patient of Dr. Matlock and she loves her. Dr. Matlock takes her time to explain everything and she does not let you leave without making sure the child and parent understands everything and have a plan of action to work toward the next visit.

Dr Smith is no longer my doctor. He looks at data and does analysis. His communication with me was totally unsatisfactory. He isn't a patient oriented person. If you want a smart uncommunicative doctor, he's your man. Otherwise, there are a lot of better doctors around who can actually communicate with you. BTW, the MUSC office was incredibly difficult to reach.

Dr. Ruzhansky was the third neurologist I saw for an unidentified muscle disorder that I have been dealing with for the last 2 1/2 years. Just a few moments into the initial appointment she definitively stated that I did not have MG. That decision was based on the fact that I did not have the most severe symptoms of MG & all blood work came back negative as well. Ruling out MG was fine however I would like to know what I do have & is there a way to treat. After 2 visits, blood work, and a muscle test, all she said is that I need PT, OT, and a pain management clinic. There was no compassion, no way forward was offered, and on the final visit she said she was done & there was nothing she could do. I suppose she is a good doctor in her field but she needs to be in a research area of work. She missed the course on how to listen & interact with patients. My wife & I spent a lot of time & money on food, lodging, & gas to try to find out what is wrong with me.

Dr. Clyburn is awesome, he provide care for my Mom and always takes the needed time to address her issues. He reminds me of what it used to be like when your doctor actually communicate with you and digs deep to find solutions. Always attentive and have time to answer questions you may have out of office.

He is very knowledgeable, reassuring, and very patient during his visits. Dr. Flume is an excellent leader and researcher.

I had to get testing done for my memory issues and said that I wasn’t “putting in any efforts” into the test because I did terribly.which is stupid as I went there for memory issues.but she said my memory issues were just fine because I could tell her my medical history.last time I check that’s a script have I have to tell every new doctor to and that’s no my day to day life.I didn’t even get to finish the test bc of it.please do not send your child to her if they multiple medical conditions as she obviously does not take that into account.

Very impressed with Dr. Gerena. Very informed and professional with a conservative approach to my injury. Was so pleased with this referral. Highly recommend him.

Ive been a patient for 4+ years now. Dr Walker is extremely difficult to get a hold of or get an appt with in fact I have to see another neurologist out of state because he is unable to provide a basic level of care/treatment plan. Unfortunately I need a local neurologist as well but if you're looking for something more than a consultation - I don't recommend.

Both of my children are patients of Dr Matlock. She is super knowledgeable, relatable and warm. My kids enjoy seeing her because she is always energetic and positive. Very happy to have her as a dr

Dr. Meyer is friendly, very attentive and listens. He explained the surgical procedure and all went very well. Prior to surgery, we discussed the latest research for hearing loss and made me comfortable about the risk assessment to give up my hearing aids for the cochlear implants.

Dr. Suppa is the only one ever to actually listen to me and my complaints

Dr Clyburn spends the time to understand you and your medical situation. In particular, if you have complex medical condition, he endeavors to look beyond the surface to underlying causes.

HORRIBLE experience!!!!! I went for my sons reflux and the entire time he focused on his heart barely discussed his reflux issue. Also, he sent his stool to the lab it’s been 3 weeks now and haven’t received any results and I’ve made several calls and no one answers the phone. Finally, I got through someone and left a message for the Dr. and never received a call. Please do yourself a favor and see another doctor.

Outstanding comprehensive visit

I’m sure that Dr. Campbell is a fine doctor for matters involving epilepsy. For anything else, I would not recommend him to anyone. He was dismissive and condescending, telling my roommate that her debilitating neurological issues and violent muscle movements from an antipsychotic (Seroquel) were all just caused by her anxiety. He was not interesting in hearing about the hundreds people we know of who have had dystonic reactions to this medication, and told me I “should not trust everything on the Internet.” He then recommended checking out “Psychology Today”, which is widely known as one of the most comically unreliable sources in the field of psychological science. When asked if he would refer us elsewhere to get a second opinion, he replied, “I don’t think you need one.” It’s concerning to see that level of pride; as we are all human and all capable of missing the mark. We will not be back, and are thankful for the compassionate and intelligent care we have found elsewhere.

Very unprofessional. Lack of knowledge. Rushes appointment. Doesn’t talk and answer questions well.

I definitely do not recommend this doctor to anyone. She absolutely terrible. She has zero care for her patients and she does minimal work.

After screwing up a surgery on my fiance so that she had to spend a week in the ICU on a ventilator Dr Varma refused to answer questions. He then sent her home without after care instructions and lied about her 2 week check-up to hospital Patient Advocate staff. This man does not deserve to have a medical license any longer.

I came for a second opinion and was very pleased. She spent a lot of time informing me of procedures and possible outcomes. I would highly recommend anyone to the practice
