I had a a very disappointing experience with Dr. Psenka more than once. I decided to give her a second chance, and I absolutely regret it now. I ended up seeing her for sudden fatigue that has been bothering me for nearly a month now. It has been severe, to the point where I can’t complete daily tasks and have to rely on my husband to do mostly everything. I figured that it’s probably something simple, maybe a deficiency. Something that can be fixed with maybe some vitamins or something. She told me that my blood work back in November (when I was feeling fine) was okay, so that I should be fine. She mentioned it would just be more money, but not necessarily provide more answers. She also suggested that I considered and pushed going back on my anti-depressants. I told her I wasn’t depressed and that I feel great, it’s just that I’m facing sudden severe fatigue out of nowhere. She doesn’t seem to listen very well.

Dr. Psenka listened closely to all my health needs & concerns. She patiently answered my questions and weaved empathy & concern into her examination. I feel that she is patient supportive, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to my family and friends.

I am six months post op with a left total reverse shoulder replacement and am happy to report I have no pain, soreness or other residual effects. Even the scar is beautiful! I did need to end my PT sessions at MUSC Physical Therapy due to COVID but was able to continue on my own at home. I was afraid to hope this surgery would be as successful as when Dr. Friedman replaced my left knee in 2017. Same thing, no pain and excellent mobility. I am so grateful to have found this brilliant, gifted Dr who has dedicated his life to helping people live without pain after years of arthritic pain. I’ll be back to see you when the pandemic is over cause you made it clear you want to follow your patients over several years. I wanted to let you know once again I am a success story and provide others with a recommendation and details of how your expertise gave me a superb quality of life. I am eternally grateful. Your support staff does everything to your perfectionist expectations too!

Absolutely stay as far away from this "Dr." as possible. He did a total knee replacement on me 5/19. For 8 months I suffered intense pain. I walked with a painful limp. He lied many times about what was causing my pain. He offered no solution. He said my "overall health condition"was causing the surgery failure. There was no "Overall Health Condition" other than a knee problem. I certainly was found fit for surgery in the first place by Dr. Friedman and MUSC! After seeing an Independent Medical Examiner I was told I needed corrective surgery. And BTW the Examiner attested to no pre- existing condition that would compromise my recovery. After many rejections I finally found a doctor willing to take my case. My second surgery was January 2020. The mistakes caused by Friedman were corrected and I am recovering. Dr. Friedman could care less about his patients. I cannot understand why MUSC would have such an incompetent doctor on staff.

I've been trying to schedule an appointment for over a week now. Every time I call the number I was given, I get sent to voicemail. I have tried calling over 15 times at this point. This is extremely unprofessional. I am considering asking for a referral to a different office.

Woupdnt recomend at all. These doctors are the worst I've ever had. They truly don't care about You and Your feelings whatsoever. They are always very rude. Don't care about Your pain at all. Make You suffer regardless of the reason You have to miss appointment. An I did cause of My child being in the hospital. An I've had 2 appointments that I called and said I would be late and they still told Me to come in and I would be seen, Just to get there and them say no rescdule, and 1 appointment I was sitting in the damn lobby when a nurse called and said I couldn't be seen. They aren't friendly at all. Their bedside manner is way below poor! Please save Yourself any heartache and anger, DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR NOTHING AT ALL! I wouldn't send a dead dog or My worst enemy to them ever!! I'd say they are very heartless and only for their pay checks. An it's sad cause I help with their pay checks!! Always treated like crap!!

Maybe he is better in the operating room, but he spent less than 5 minutes on each visit and didn't even review my MRI. His assistant didn't even know one had been ordered, but then she was a resident and he was teaching her. blind leading blind. One of the worst experiences I've had in a doctor's office.

Do not understand some of the negatives noted above. I have sent at least 10-12 people to him and, without exception, everyone has been thrilled. He has operated on me twice (artificial shoulder and shoulder reversal) and I could not be happier. He is not one to waist time and I am sure that his surgical skills are world class. All one needs to do is to talk with other doctors and nursing staff and you will not need any other data.this man is at the top of his profession.

Don't go to see him. On entry, his attitude was "find the cause of the problem". It quickly devolved into "find no problem", and abruptly changed to "there's nothing wrong" when I noted the symptoms had changed somewhat months after I stopped doing the problem-causing activity. He is a shoulder, not a neck doctor. NO review of information from other sources and no testing beyond physical manipulation. He was validating "there's nothing wrong", not trying to find the problem cause.

Great job on the Mohs Surgery. He got it with the first pass. Outstanding bed side manner. The procedure and side effects were well explained before the procedure began. I would ask for him again should I need this surgery again.

I started seeing Dr. Friedman about 8 years ago and as a couple of the reviewers have stated, he is not the most "engaging" doctor but his surgical skills are excellent. He repaired my torn labrum in my right shoulder and later he repaired my rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I am now preparing to have my knee replacement surgery and Dr. Friedman will be doing that as well. When it comes to selecting a surgeon, I am more interested in their surgical skill than their bedside manner!

Dr. Hsia is now at MUSC in South Carolina. While I was nervous about Mohs surgery on my face, he put me at ease and did a wonderful job. The cancer is gone and after three weeks there is almost no evidence of surgery.

Saw Dr. Friedman today, referral 4 injections for arthritic knees. He had x-rays done 1st.He spent less than 5 minutes with me and tells me I do NOT have arthritis in my knees, which I have had for more than 20 years!!He sarcastically suggested that the dr. who originally diagnosed my arthritis was not an orthopedic specialist, I told him SHE was one of the Top Rheumatologists in Northern New Jersey, he no longer wanted to talk about anything, did not give me care.Inflexible, demeaning rude man.

Dr Rocha has taken care of my husband, father-in-law, and myself. We each had a very extensive eye assessment, followed by cataract surgery, with my husband and myself having symfony (multifocal) lenses inserted. The improvement for each of us has been a "night and day" experience. I highly recommend Dr Rocha, she has treated each one of us with great care and attention, whilst being very professional. Dr Rocha has extensive knowledge, ability, and passion for everything eye related.

My immediate recommendation is if you have a serious medical problem don't go to Dr Friedman. He doesn't talk much when you ask questions and he is quick to argue with you and did not think it is necessary to come visit while still in the hospital. Once I had knee replacement, being there five days before going to rehab. he never once came to see me. It took a few visits after rehabs for him to shift me on to pain management. I will not recommend any one to Dr Friedman. He is a lier.
