I had a heart attack and Dr Smith implanted 3 stents in the LAD artery. I never recovered and experienced pain, lightheadedness and shortness of breath. After 2.5 months, I needed bypass surgery which also failed. I was later told by the Cleveland Clinic the stents were placed too close to the heart to properly put in the bypass graft. Given a choice, I would not choose Dr Smith.

Dr. Reider was my cardiologist in the late 1990s to the mid 2000s. He was a wonderful doctor, competent, professional and personable. When few other doctors permitted it, he allowed me to communicate with him by email in between appointments. He seemed to take a genuine interest in me. If I were still in Charleston, he would still be my doctor. If he wants to get in touch, my email is clement.don@gmail.com or he could text me at 330-234-3292. I’d love to hear from him. Don Clement

First of all I like Dr Bunting very much and he is a great Dr. He has done work on me and I am still kicking! Office staff is absolutely horrible. They cancel appointments then make new ones that don't exist. Get to office and they tell you there is no appointment showing for you. They don't call to cancel appointments. Appointment with one Dr and they send you to another when you get there. Wish he would have a retraining for staff!

Horrible! I think 1 star is too high. Total waste of time. He did not even evaluate my mom yet he charged Medicare for the visit. She was referred for surgery clearance and now due to his negligence surgery is postponed. I am furious and filing a complaint with Medicare

If this doctors staff ignores another Dr.'s FAX request for clearance for one of Dr. Ciccone's patients for over a week causing this patient to have more pain then necessary, then his staff is a big problem. A Fax from another Dr. should be a priority. This should not be a decision a STAFF member (MA) should decide. Patients are there to be treated by Dr. Ciccone not by STAFF,even an MA. Dr. Rieder is, I'm sure to a particularly selection of clientele, lovely. However, I found him to be dismissive, belittling and insulting. He tried to tell me that my heart issues were the result of my once-a-month (sometimes less) cigar smoking and eliminating that would be a "game changer". This is ridiculous. All requests for further testing were not granted and follow through was poor. I quickly found another cardiologist, within the same practice, who is receptive, warm and kind.

Dr. Ciccone is easily one of the top specialists I have ever encountered. His engaging and entertaining manner simply scratches the surface of a uniquely qualified and obviously brilliant cardiologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ellison since July 1987. He has guided me through 3 heart by-pass surgeries and continues to provide excellent medical care for me. He is always gracious and patiently listens to my concerns and before providing me medical advice. My good health today is a testament of his excellent care.

Very unprofessional and completely unresponsive. Had office staff read test results over the phone and the test results include several irregularities that require follow-up with another specialist. Office staff then made a referral to the wrong specialist. Doctor still hasn't returned multiple phone calls to discuss test results. If you think you might require actual treatment from a qualified specialist, do not use Dr. Bunting.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ciccone for several years and he is a very patient and caring doctor. He always takes his time and makes sure that understands what’s going on. He’s not overly anxious to prescribe medicines if they’re not necessary and he certainly makes every effort to remedy the true problem and not “band-aid” the symptoms. I really like that about him! Great doc!

I get the impression I’m just a number. The office staff is incompetent also. You send them paperwork and no one knows where they are or what happened to them.
