I have been a patient of Dr. Ali's for years. When I called the office today to request a refill of my daily medication, she refused to renew the prescription saying I should get it from my Primary Care Physician. I let the office know I was out of medication and they refused to refill even 7 days worth until I could see my PCP. I was never informed that Dr. Ali would no longer see me, as my condition was not out control, and has been stabilized. I feel this is a breech of care.
I have had a similar experience with Dr. Fornace. When asked questions he was rude with his response. He asked if I had a medical background. He did not like any questions.
I would absolutely not recommend this so called doctor. He is arrogant, clueless, does not listen to his patients as HE is the DOCTOR not them. At the same time, he does not monitor his patients EVEN when is obviously something wrong. He blames the condition on the patient. What decent doctor does that? Please, please, please heed the comments about this guy.
She is an excellent Dr. and my wife is happy with her. She is very thorough and took her time to understand how my wife feels.
Refuses to run requested blood tests.
Refuses to refill prescriptions for medication needed for no thyroid due to cancer.
Does not respond to repeated messages.
Dr. Ali was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. I left my first appointment with her feeling better able to manage my condition. She is enthusiastic, engaging and actually sounds happy that her patients have questions for her, because it shows her that we are taking our condition seriously. I would recommend her to anyone in need of an Endocrinologist
He was very patient as I asked about my health concerns. He was also able to satisfy my queries by explaining the 'whys' on how the disease process starts and progresses. Although he is pleasant, other patients may find him too cold or indifferent. But I prefer a physician who addresses my concerns and keeps an open mind in treatment if needed than someone who is too friendly but does not want to answer my queries and always in rush to end the appointment.
Another pimp the patient out doctor. Went to see her for Low T after one office visit and a month of ineffective treatment she said there was nothing she could do and referred me to a urologist. She wasn't worth the gas or money. If you have low T Do NOT see her.
She was very comfortable to talk candidly with and there was never a sense of hurriedness. I believe she really cared about me and wanted genuinely to help me to feel my best and get to the source of the problem with my health. I have been at both locations and everyone is wonderful at each. I am thankful I found her. My young adult daughter has also visited the office although she saw her LNP as the wait for new patients was too long and she would be away for the summer. She liked LNP too.
'Dr.' Brown is not competent. I came in with a messed up shoulder; he shrugged. I made an appointment with his PA and she was good. I came in with a sinus infection--which I looked up on Web MD. I also had a messed up knee. He looked at my knee, said to take ibuprofen. He insisted that I did not have a sinus infection.
I did, in fact, have a sinus infection and it went away with home treatment. My shoulder
