Review of Dr. Zivkovic

-

I have seen two other neuromuscular specialists and I’ve found Dr. Zivkovic to be the most engaging. Unfortunately there’s nothing that can be done to improve my situation, but he is very understanding and tries to help anyw he can.

Review of Dr. Zaher

I was a patient in his office, the reason I went there because I have upmc Insurance, he came in the room without saying hi , he treated me as I’m not a human being, he didn’t explain me too much, he started to explain about my medication before explain what exactly goes on with me, I will never go back again, i will change him with another doctor, I don’t think he’s a professional doctor to trust!!!!!

His personality is not a doctor with experience, he’s rude in dealing with his patients, he doesn’t explain a lot so he doesn’t know a lot, i didn’t feel comfort in his office, dealing with american doctors much kore and more better than dealing with such person came from outside the usa, his age is so small to have a good experience, bad bad bad appointment i had ever had

Review of Dr. Robinson Waters

- in Pittsburgh |

If your diagnosis is not easy & clear cut, she will label it as a mental issue and recommend you see a therapist even if you already see one. She does not listen or care to offer any other suggestions unless you push her for more help. Not a doctor who cares or advocates for her patients. Also, she was very abrasive with me during her very brief exam. I was shaking and cramping up as I do, and she kept yelling at me over and over to relax.

Review of Dr. Kay

- in Pittsburgh, PA |

My 2 appointments with Dr. Kay did not yield what I needed. Our communication styles did not fit at all. Another Doc at the same UPMC Monroeville office was very skilled, communicative, and compassionate (Dr. Kavendgard).

Review of Dr. Robinson Waters

I was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis two years ago based only on a single fiber EMG study. Lab results did not confirm this erroneous finding. I was given many medications to treat MG with no success. My case was handed off to another neurologist because he supposedly had more experience with MG. He added another drug and plasma pheresis and gave me a follow-up in seven months. At this point I cannot walk without a walker. I fall often and am in constant pain. Weakness is extremely sever

Review of Dr. Kay

Dr. Kay was very thourough in finding out what my condition was , She is an upfront kind of doctor , some people may mistake this for rudeness, she is not, she just cuts to the chase , I found her to be honest and helpful

Review of Dr. Homayoun

-Leckrone |

Waste of time and money. This sorry excuse for a physician did nothing but echo back to me base, obvious facts like "you have a pain condition" but that he doesn't "treat pain. It's not my job to treat pain." He made assumptions about me that were completely wrong, and summed up his evaluation without the benefit of any current test results. He used tests from 5-7 yrs. ago. I waited over a year for this appointment hoping for some sort of help...nothing.

Dr Yanta"s exam was very thorough and her understanding of the medication's available as well as their interactions with my current medications was exceptional. After years of headaches they are now Control.
