On 6/13/21 I had a rather serious biking accident and was taken to a local ER in Lancaster, PA. The accident broke apart my previous fusion at T7/T8; I also had two broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung. When the extent of my injuries became apparent I asked to be transferred to Jefferson where I had had two previous spine surgeries. Dr. Heller performed a lengthy surgery on me on June 15th where he inserted many rods and screws to hold my back together. I cannot praise Dr. Heller enough. He is an excellent surgeon but even more than that he cares so much about each of his patients. He treats each patient with dignity, takes the time to explain, he listens and answers questions. Tomorrow it will be three months since I had the accident. I am getting used to my "new" back. I am making steady progress and am nearly back to my pre-accident self. With the seriousness of my injuries I never thought I would recover this well. Thank you, Dr. Heller for giving me my life back!

I have Parkinson’s disease and was having serious issues with dyskinesia and tremors. I was given Dr. Wu’s name to see if I qualified for a DBS (deep brain stimulator) I did and the surgery was May 7th at Jefferson Neuroscience Hospital. I have had 3 in person visits with Dr Wu and his Surgical nurse, Casey Rosenthal and they both were amazing. Having the DBS implanted is just the beginning - the settings have to be tweaked and this takes time. Dr. Wu gave me his email and told me to contact him if I ever had a problem or questions. I did contact him numerous times and he got back to me the same day!! Casey Rosenthal RN also gave me her contact info and I did have to contact her and she also got back to me the same day. Casey made me feel at ease when the procedure was explained to me. Dr. Wu and Casey make a great team and I would highly recommend Dr. Wu for any Neurosurgery he is very knowledgeable and talks to you not down to you and either does Casey made me so comfortable.

I went to Dr. Heller with numbness in my legs and feet, I could not walk without assistance. He has been very honest about what to expect from surgery and recovery. I am several months out and can walk after physical therapy. Dr Heller is a very patient, caring and knowledgeable surgeon.

Dr Wu is a kind compassionate doctor. He takes the time to not just talk to you but also to listen. He explains in terms that are understandable and helped me to make an informed decision. I highly recommend Dr Wu and his team.

Had spine surgery for problems with my legs now I’ve lost full mobility use of my hands and my back has become much more stiffer than before im afraid to see him again he doesn’t give me any reasonable explanation of why my body is having these complications

My experience with Dr. Wu and his staff has been nothing but positive. I had a DBS operation to control an essential tremor. From the first appointment to my last telemed, Dr. Wu has been enthusiastic, more than competent, and always positive. His passion for what he does is palpable and manifests itself in everything he does. His staff, especially Casey and Julie, have been extremely helpful, and have always kept me up-to-date and on track for what I needed to do. The Jefferson internet portal has also been a boon, allowing contact at any time. If someone had told me that brain surgery would have been this positive, I may have done it sooner. I would recommend Dr. Wu and his staff to anyone!

I was referred to this doctor by my PCP after suffering from headaches and eye pain. I also received an MRI and MRA which revealed moderate narrowing in an artery in my brain. Since I have high cholesterol ,my PCP thought I should have my scans looked at by a neurologist just to be safe. Dr Herial was very nice during our video appointment but followed up with nothing. As a matter of fact, I'm still waiting for my follow up call. He was supposed to contact my eye specialist about a recent procedure and never did. I went to my eye specialist for a follow up appt. and he himself forwarded everything to Dr Hertial and he never even called me back. He also read my MRI results and had his receptionist call me and tell me I had no aneurisms, which I already knew. He completely missed reading the MRA showing the narrowing in my middle cerebral artery. I gave up contacting him and have switched to a different neurologist. The whole experience with this doctor has been quite frustrating.

I had a brain biopsy performed by Dr. Kevin Judy on February 16, 2009. It was to determine what a large amount of cysts and lesions were comprised of. Ver fortunately, the cysts and lesions were determined to be neurosarcoidosis. Even while I was in the hospital recovering from the damage that had been done, Dr. Judy had already handed me off to another doctor. He never called or checked in on me to see how I was recovering. My last day of work was February 15, 2009 as I was incapable of performing any duties at any job. It is now October 5, 2020 and I haven’t been able to drive or work. I live off of disability and am paid once a month. I tried numerous times to sue, but no one will help me. I’m only 44 years old and am forced to live with my parents. I do not recommend Dr. Kevin Judy for any type of surgery. Awful.

Dr. Wu is an excellent surgeon and diagnostician. He was able to identify the source of my pain and recommend appropriate treatment. For me, the remedy was a spinal cord stimulator. The implant requires two surgeries and he performed both meticulously. Today, I am pain free 95% of the time. Dr. Wu and his staff were awesome and in the midst of a pandemic the surgery was done safely. Words cannot express how grateful I am for his skill and compassion.

Everything happened just as Dr Wu and Casey explained it. They made my decision to have the surgery must easier. I'm so glad I took a leap of faith and had the surgery done. I have no regrets

Excellent, full spinal fusion. Felt very confident under his care. Very successful surgery, my quality of life is so much better even at age 75 having MS for 40 year also.??

Dr Farrell is such an amazing caring doctor. He listens and takes his time to explain everything to u in full detail. He recently removed a 2.3cm acoustic neuroma from my brain and did a fantastic job!! No facial weakness whatsoever which was my worst fear and he checked on me every chance he could. If anyone has any kind of brand tumor especially an acoustic neuroma tumor I highly, highly suggest dr Christopher Farrell! Him and his team are literally the best!! You u wont be disappointed. Thanks again dr Farrell!

Totally awesome surgeon. Had a double aneurysm the day before Thanksgiving. DR. T operated and had me home with my family for holiday dinner the next day. Great personality, explains everything so you can understand. Feel blessed that she was on duty when i arrived at the hospital. Connie

Doctor Farrell is the best neuro surgeon! He is very calming and explains everything very well! I had a meningioma and knew I was in the right hands with him. It was April 2016. I only have to see him every 2 years now and am going to try and get an apt close to where I live because he is going to be seeing patients in King O Prussia. Hated going downtown! Love him! He is the best!

I am so glad to have found Dr. Heller. He performed my left Si joint fusion and I feel so much better. I feel blessed to have come across a Dr with such expertise and compassion for his patients.

I had increasingly debilitating sciatic pain. Dr Heller went through a series of nonsurgical treatment before considering an operation. A each visit he explained & showed what he was recommending & why. He made efficient use of time but always had time to answer any questions & did not give an impression of being rushed. When all else failed, he explained the surgical procedure fully & clearly. All went as expected & I now walk freely without pain. One day I commented that he really seemed to enjoy his work. With animation, he said, "Yes, I can help people feel better!"

He operated on me 3 times,2 for my back and once on my neck.all 3 surgeries were a major improvement to my life. He is a great doctor and person. I give him 10 stars! Jeff Small

I love Dr. Heller ! He is fantastic. I chose him based on my research and I couldn't have been more pleased. He is very caring and will discuss with you all your options , risks, etc. My surgery was completely successful and I am pain free and back to myself. He gave me my life back. I would highly recommend him and Jefferson for your needs. Very good experience. If any thing happens in the future for which I would need his services, I will definitely go back to him.

He is an awesome doctor. He is truly an encouraging person especially after surgery. He explains every detail very well. He is straight forward, will not give you false hopes but will give you extremely great care. He gives you all the information so you can make an educated decision with his assistance. I would recommend him to the world!!
