Dr Raitt collapsed my right lung during a procedure while at the University of Washington, then sent me home without addressing his mistake. I collapsed shorty thereafter and had to be rushed by ambulance back to the UWMC. Everyone in the transplant program checked on me and offered apologies except for Dr Raitt. He was flip and dismissive. I have suffered years of complications due to Dr. Raitt.

Sent my imaging results via mail with no personal input or plan of care to follow just radiologist interpretation stating my scapula was deformed and that my shoulder was subluxated had to beg for pain management poor overall care and continuity thereof... staff is equally as mediocre. Laxadaisically sent me back to work without having even evaluated me physically... ignored my complaints of morbid pain and request for him to review on hand recent spinal MRI that may have insight to shoulder injury. Fast forward several months and not only am I still unable to work due to debilitation and compounding comorbidities. After essentially dooming me with a lackluster RTW reccomendation & some generic upper extremity modifications to work and of course NSAIDS. After waiting over 7 months for ortho i got my own... I was told I needed a reverse total shoulder replacement and I won't be able to carry anything heavier than a salad fork likely for life. Thanks

Proactively arranged a checkup and maintenance MRI. Took the time on call to listen, made sure I didn't have any questions. Friendly staff. Sometimes, I need to follow up on my own care because stuff slips through the cracks, but it's the VA so - yeah, nobody should be surprised by this. Some of the systems are old and out of date, but if you can get Dr. Iwaniec through the other hospitals in the area you can probably be through systems that are better than government.

He was supposed to call me at 2:00 PM. He called at 11:30 AM waking me up while I was completely disorientated. After a 7 month wait the call lasted 20 minutes & I don't think he could've cared less about my problem!!

Dr. DoNothing I've seen Timberlake for years now. It's my opinion that he's just punching his timecard without any real honest concern for his patients. Common remedy for almost everything is to eat right and get some rest. Does not like to refer patients to speciality clinics ect. Seems like there is incentive on the VAs part to do as little as possible. Just get them in and out quickly without really doing much of anything.

He was willing to listen to my Dad's extensive history. Dr Timberlake gave reasonable recommendations for the current stage of my Dad's life. I would recommend him for someone nearing the end of their life. He was compassionate and listened well to both my Dad and me.

Does comp and pension veteran exams. I've seen him twice. He lies, whatever you tell him, never makes it into the exam notes. He makes up his own opinions. Complete waste of time. His soul purpose is to deny veterans claims. Don't expect to talk to him. He will cut you off and tell you it "isn't your time to speak". Apparently he hates veterans.

Just left this office with misinformation from a loud voiced man at check-in. Veterans CAN get their records immediately at the VA records department. And, learn the meaning of privacy. You talk too loud and the veteran was seeking HIS OEN FILES.

Intelligent, competent, informed and diligent. A good communicator. My illness - bladder cancer - was complicated by a rare genetic disorder. Dr. Kopp consulted with centers of excellence regarding latest developments in treatment. He quickly devised an effective treatment regimen and researched a back-up plan if the initial regimen failed. I'm well, now. Highly recommended.

He's been my primary care doctor for almost a decade, and has helped me through several major health issues. He is always polite and professional. He referred me to some specialists when necessary and they were able to resolve my issues. I am very pleased with Dr. Timberlake and I think he deserves some recognition.

It is obvious that Dr. Levitt has advanced expertise in her field but unfortunately she gave us the impression that she has lost much of her passion for her job. She comes across as uninterested and at times fearful. I applaud her for her service but prefer someone with more compassion.

Went from a decades long career as a successful and published Thoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon to working as a C&P Examiner for Veteran’s Administration all the way across the country in Hillsboro, OR. Why would a successful surgeon leave a career earning 6-7 figures a year to move across the country and squeak by on a C&P examiner salary for the VA? He is a specialist in Thoracic Surgery but working as a C&P Decision writer for the VA with the sole purpose of denying Veteran's claims.

My husband has terminal prostate cancer metastisized into bones. Dr Timberlake and his staff were curtious, caring and compasionate. There was never a problem with getting an appointment. If he was caught up with a client before us the nurse notified us to an approximent wait time. Dr. Timberlake fully disclosed what he knew of my husbands case and was frank about what to expeck as far as doctor visits and treatment. He answered any question we had and answered them to the best of his knowledge.

Very rude, abrupt, uncaring and doesn't know the most recent findings on how to treat Lynch Syndrome. Called me a polyp farmer and didn't understand how aspirin therapy slows down the new growth of cancerous polyps in Lynch Syndrome patients. His treatment is colostomy when a patient can live with his colon by taking 325 mg of aspirin daily. He needs to read up on the most recent clinical trials. I would not recommend him for anyone with colon cancer due to Lynch Syndrome and he's a professor?

Best primary care physician I've ever had. Listens to your concerns and doesn't rush you. Dr. Iwaniec has helped me out a lot since I've been under his care. While it isn't easy to schedule a visit with him because of the VA system, it doesn't reflect Dr. Iwaniec level of care as this is out of his control.
