Dr. Hazrat is thoughtful, a good listener, and takes the trouble to provide clear and detailed explanations. He does an excellent job of answering questions. He is very helpful in setting up needed lab and other work. I have recommended him highly to friends.

Dr Petersen is a great doctor. I have been going to her for about 10 years. She is very easy to talk to and I never feel rushed. I moved from Cottage Grove to Springfield about 4 years ago, rather than find another doctor, I travel to Cottage Grove to see her.

Dr. Hazrat suffers from “little man” syndrome. I’ve been seen by a specialist for 4 years but every time I go to see Hazrat he undermines their recommendations. When asking to have my hormone levels checked because it’d had been recommended to me to do so by my mother, a RN and a PA his response was, “I don’t need you coming in and self diagnosing. You shouldn’t listen to RN’s PA’s or your mother. I’M YOUR DOCTOR” Then he refused to offer any testing of my hormone levels

I saw Dr Hazrat recently (May 2017) as a new patient. I found him contentious, kind, and thoughtful. He listened and made reasonable recommendations. I have a medical background in CCU and ICU as an RN, and so have a professional basis to make this evaluation. I only gave 4 stars because this was my first exposure to him. My 93 yr. old mother-in-law also saw him recently and found him "attentive and thorough".

terminates pain contracts without cause, he didn't seem interested in checking ears, nose, throat conditions, I told him I my left knee hurts, he said I need to loose wait that I was to fat, and exercise, and loose wait, knees bone to bone, cant walk with shot knees, shot back, a lot of pain makes eat more, if I have pain meds ,then I don't over eat ,I can be more motivated without as much pain,. one appt. I had a sore throat and severe ear pain, I had asked him 3 times to check my ear,

I took my kiddos for a well check. Dr. Hazrat. He was a good listener. My son had a wart and instead of making us return for another appointment, he treated it on the spot.

Seen him once he has over turned previous Dr (I had been seeing for a # of years) for me to be on no work until my heart/ weakness in my legs is taken care of have already been bounced around between specialist about these health issues for a year now so went to him for help his fix was give me meds I didn't want in the first place and now I still waiting on what to do next! His excuse for the over turn was that he wasn't familiar with my case enough to leave it active. Feeling unheard!
