I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Farrar as my physician. I have been a patient of his for 18 years and I have complete faith in him and the excellent care I have received from is the best.
Dr. Cohn performed a DaVinci hysterectomy on me for endometrial cancer. He and his staff were some of the most professional and caring people I have ever met. I got an appointment with him quickly and felt comfortable with his level of concern for me. He and his surgical team were awesome and made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. My recovery was quicker than I expected and pain was minimal. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cohn and his staff!
This doctor's failed resection on my wife had her hours from death 2 weeks after surgery. She had called his office 11 days after surgery saying she was sick but an employee at Fowler's office said it was just the medication; wrong, that advice caused her to have lifesaving emergency surgery three days later by a surgeon in Troy who said Fowler's resection failed and poison was pouring into her abdomen. Tubes, huge open wound, Ileostomy bag for months. I will never forget or forgive Fowler.
I have advanced prostate cancer and have been a patient of Dr. Clinton since 2006. Dr Clinton is a dedicated researcher and oncologist for genitourinary cancers. He treats each patient as an individual case recognizing long ago, that all people and cancers are unique. With his research background and depth of experience in genitourinary cancers, he has developed an effective treatment plan for me. Dr Clinton has never failed to address concerns/questions and is always a pleasure to visit.
Dr Devine is a very compassionate person. He takes the time to explain and ensure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options. i am thankful that I have Dr Devine as my doctor.
Dr. Saab is an egocentric personality who routinely keeps his patients waiting two or more hours beyond their scheduled appointment. He enjoys a favorable reputation in the medical community and uses his position to influence patients and their families concerning treatment options. Two years after the death of my husband from cancer I have learned that 97 percent of the time chemotherapy does not curb the disease. I was never told that by Dr. Saab who instead highly recommended the treatment
I was one of the lucky ones. Dr Copeland removed a cyst on my ovary and it was benign. But the fear and anxiety were still there. He was a solid rock for me before my surgery and gave me the confidence to know I was in good and capable hands. He took time with me explaining everything and assuring me whatever the outcome I would have options and guidance. I was lucky. Lucky not to have cancer and lucky to have had Dr Copeland as my surgeon. I thank him for his experience and sensitivity to me
Dr. Copeland performed major surgery on me in March 2014 to remove 6 malignant tumors from my abdomen. I was in stage 3 C of ovarian cancer. After being fully debulked and receiving chemotherapy for 4 months I can now say I'm cancer free. It's been two years since my surgery and I'm actually feeling like my total self again. He always gives me time at Dr. visits to answer any questions (regardless of how silly) they might seem. I never feel rushed and get a thorough exam with each visit.
He listens and cares! Gives great support when you are sick.
Dr Cohn dealt with me with care and compassion as if I was his patient for years. I was referred to Dr Cohn by my GYN in hopes of him being able to perform a DaVinci hysterectomy. Dr Cohn'a bedside manners are second to none, his staff was amazing and his skills were impeccable!! My experience with Dr Cohn was most pleasurable and I would recommend him to anyone lookin for a great GYN .. Keep up the good work. I very grateful for you!
Dr. Fowler spent very little one on one time with me (2 appointments that lasted 15 minutes) I felt forced and rushed into getting a total hysterectomy. After performing the surgery he never checked on me or followed up during recovery. He also performed a more invasive surgery than he mentioned in our initial consultation and it was not even brought up to me before or after my surgery I only found out by reading it on my discharge paperwork.
Dr. Farrar would not answer our questions. Kept referring us to ask the questions to another doctor. Rest of the staff was excellent.
Dr. Cohn is very personable and considerate. He has a nice sense of humor and seems to have the appropriate level of empathy with patients. He was my surgeon and I was very pleased with his in-office care and the surgery experience. There as part of the planned procedure I disagreed with and we discussed it, he did not dismiss my non-medical point of view or concerns. He's an oncologist, so I pray you never need him, but if you do, I recommend him highly.
Dr Byrd is one of the world's leading researchers and experts on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He is involved in cutting-edge clinical trials and carefully steers his patients' course in light of the latest research on CLL. Dr. Byrd is also a very compassionate person who deeply cares about his patients. I would highly recommend to anyone with CLL to travel to Columbus to consult with Dr. Byrd or a member of his team.
She is the most negative doctor I have ever had the misfortune of meeting! She concentrates on the fact that the patient is going to die than trying to give them hope. All my life I have been told that attitude is of the patient is 90% of tackling cancer. Very bad experience.
She is very kind-hearted, patient, easy-going, professional, frank, modest, brilliant, learned, thoughtful, understanding and insightful. She is the best doctor I have ever met.
One Awesome Doctor!!!!!! Knows his stuff!!!
I love Dr. OMalley! His staff is excellent. Very caring!
Dr Mrozek is a very intelligent, caring and understanding Doctor. I trust her judgement. Have only heard great things about her and staff. Highly recommended from other nurses. I will miss her greatly as she moves on.
My psa was 4.6. I am 57. I had the teaching biopsy. Yes, one core was 5% positive. What do we do? We watch it grow for now. Then we do another reaming invasive biopsy again in 6 months.MILK the insurance. I can watch it grow without you and your 3 doctor, 2 female nurses watching. I requested medication, I did not get any. I am on antidepressants, and assumed a substance abuser. I am sick and tired of being treated like a substance abuser just because I take antidepressants. Pay 4 your house?
