I went to see him to get a cat scan read to me but he said he did not read it. He was not attentive to my problem, no eye contact I was billed for 1 hour but spent 10 minutes with him I highly do not recommend Dr. Jit a GI doctor

She is not a very kind person and doesn’t care about you. She makes it very clear how fat you are and thinks that is all the problem. She wouldn’t listen to a concern and I finally had to have my doctor request a colonoscopy and i ended up having something that needed taken care of way before that. She is always talking down to me and treating me very poorly. I would never recommend her for anyone . Unless you are a perfect size with no health problems or concerns.

I would agree with the other poor ratings. Did not listen, was very rude, and tried telling me I didn't have what I had already been diagnosed for. He dodges phone calls (I tried calling twice a day for several days in a row and he called me back 1 minute before they close... when I missed it and called back immediately, 2 minutes later, they said he was no longer in the office). Had me do a stool test and when it was negative told me there was nothing else he could do for me, and if I am still having issues (which I am) to see my primary care. My primary care is telling me I need to see a GI again.

As a 20+ years patient, he and his assistant, Tara have always been helpful, responsive and accommodating to get me the help I’ve needed. For me, having procedures is always nervous, but I’ve never been disappointed with the care and compassion I’ve received. Everyone should have care this easy!

I saw Dr. Jit at Digestive Specialists and had an upper scope done. He was very attentive and listened to my needs. The whole process was smooth. He diagnosed my problem and I feel much better now. The staff at the practice and endoscopy center were very caring. I had a great experience! I would refer my family and friends to Dr. Jit for their GI needs!!

I have Barretts disease and suppose to be check every 2 years.I haven’t heard from her in 3/4 years. I take Meds twice a day for this and when I run out I just call and she has it refilled without seeing me .

Dr. Oruganti has treated me for various gastrointestinal issues for more than 10 years. He has addressed each one of them carefully and methodically. He is friendly, and takes as much time as needed to explain the conditions and the treatments. He doesn't mind answering the same questions more than once. He is also a good communicator through the patient portal. I am pleased with his care.

Dr. Akram is an excellent doctor. She is very professional, and I would recommend her to any of my family and friends. I was referred to her by my primary care doctor, and everything went fine. She took the time to explain the procedure, and fully explained the results when completed.

June 26, 2020 Dr. Jit performed a routine colonoscopy on me. I left there with some pain that didn’t seem normal. Over the next week it got worse. Went in for a follow up with Jit and he didn’t even look at the problem. Very uncaring he said go see a surgeon. I had a fissure caused by the procedure. The surgeon he referred me to was no help so for 6 months I was in serious pain until I came to Florida and had surgery.

I just completed my colonoscopy at Digestive Endoscopy Center (DEC) by Dr. Rajkamal Jitt. This is my first experience with DEC and with Dr. Jitt, my third such procedure over the years. My experience was outstanding - from scheduling through the procedure. I await the lab results. Each DDC team member was exceptional, beginning with my telephone call scheduling the appointment. My preparation and guidelines were clear and concise. Candice professionally and pleasantly greeted me at 6 AM (!) handling my input paperwork; Carrie was patient and kind, preparing me for the experience; Rachel, was upbeat and calming, remaining with me throughout; April, was cheerful and supportive as she administered and managed my anasethia... Dr. Jitt is professional, serious, a listener, patient, and compassionate from the introductory pre-meeting and after when briefing me of the results. I had a great team looking after me! Even though the office is busy, I felt I was the only patient!

She decided that she no longer wanted me as a patient after I sought a second opinion on my care plan from a Dr that specializes in IBD. I called her office to request a referral to a hemotologist at the suggestion of that other doctor. Her assistant told me that she would not refer me because I was no longer a patient. I attempted to switch to another provider in the practice and I was told that if she wouldn't see me, no one else in the practice would. They said she would call me to explain. I received a letter stating that we were unable to maintain a satisfactory relationship and she would no longer see me. No call, no explanation. I have been a patient of Digestive Specialists since 2015, I began seeing Dr Akram in 2019. I feel so let down by the way this was all handled. Now I have to find a new practice for myself and my daughter. It's just shameful that a doctor would behave in such a rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional manner.

My visit was a warm and carring environment. Dr. Akram was open and available for questions. She called me the evening of the procedure and again four days later with the biopsy results. The oncologist and surgeon she referred me too were also considerate and very helpful.

I wouldn`t recommend her to anyone. She never seemed to care about me . She had no empathy for me. She only spent 1 minute with me when I had appointment with her. I am very disappointed.

I normally see another doctor in this practice, but needed to be seen sooner. Dr Akram was kind, listened, reviewed my chart and discussed with me a treatment plan. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.

I have had excellent care from Dr. Jit and staff.

Dr. Jit is a great physician. He has helped me with my reflux issues as well as finding out why I was anemic. I highly recommend Dr. Jit.

I suffered severe neck and back pain for 4 months after the colonoscopy. Although I have a history of colon polyps, some left at last colonoscopy, he announced from the hallway that I had "no polyps.' Did not come to bedside and did not discuss procedure. I learned from official report that he said I am "high-risk" for colon cancer - never shared with me. Procedure done at doctor-owned facility where there is little accountability. Never followed-up to answer my questions to the nurse afterward

She was very unprofessional and rude. She didn't even look at my chart until I had asked a question. I just moved to the area and transferred from another office, and she made it clear she didn't want me as a patient from the time she sat down. What kind Doctor doesn't shake your hand when they first meet you...A rude one like Dr. Akram! I wouldn't reccommend seeing this Dr. unless you want to waste your money to be treated like crap.

She asks you questions and before you can finish answering she cuts you off as if she knows what you're going to say next.
