My physician referred me to this endocrinologist because I'm still having thyroid symptoms even though my levels are normal but he sent back the referral saying there was "nothing that can be added." I guess that's just doctor speak for "well the levels are normal so there can't possibly be anything wrong with it." Anyone with a thyroid condition will tell you that it is possible to have a level within normal and still suffer from symptoms but doctors act like they don't care if you don't have some fancy insurance paying for it or you aren't paying out of pocket. I guess he thinks some people aren't even worth an appointment.

He is the most kind, knowledgeable, caring Endo I've ever had. Very well versed in Type 1 and insulin pump therapy and extremely thorough. Excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Burdette is very professional and has a great 'bedside manner'. I take my elderly father to his office and unlike most doctors who talk over my father or don't include him in the conversation, Dr. Burdette is always very respectful of my dad and speaks to him as the intelligent elderly gentleman that he is. And he is an excellent doctor!

There is a reason he is accepting new patients. Literally the worst doctor I have ever had the experience of interacting with in my entire life. What is even worse is this practice does not care if you have a horrible experience and will not allow you to switch doctors within the practice so you are forced to go through the referral process again. Will never be alone in a room with this man ever again!!!!!

I found him to be kind, knowledgeable and professional. I admit I was a bit put-off by their pre-visit information which threatened to cancel appointments if late and not reschedule, but I can also respect that. More importantly to me, he seems to know his profession and that's what I really want in a doctor!

Dr. Koroscil is a amazing doctor. I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 19 and since then he has been taking care of my condition since i had to get my thyroid removed. He cares about his patients and has a good bed side manner. I highly recommend him.

My family doctor referred me to Dr Koroscil...it took over 2 months to get an appointment. The day of my appointment, I waited in the examination room for over 45 minutes before seeing him. He came in the room not knowing the "real" reason why I was sent to him. He then proceeded to do an ultrasound, although I had already had one done very recently with another doctor...if he would have initially looked at my chart, he would have already known the results. First and last time to see him!!

Very impersonal visit. Had a resident with him whom he mostly spoke to. Decided to perform an ultrasound without asking me if I wanted to do that first. Then, while performing an ultrasound on my thyroid said casually "I wouldn't be surprised if there was cancer in there." Never went back.

I didn't like the fact that he didn't want to explore other options of medications and or studies to confirm some symptoms I was having. The visit was my first and last one.

Terrible experience. I waited 3 months for this appointment. When I got there the office was old and in terrible shape. It smelled like cigarette smoke and was way too small for the number of patients he had. The worst is that he didn't even have the decency to talk to me from the beginning. Instead, a med student came in and did the consult. Then, Dr. Koroscil made an appearance and gave me some lame diagnosis-very cold. I doubt he even looked at all my labwork. Just unacceptable.

Lacked personality, and did not make me feel comfortable or cared for. I was told that any med prescribed for the condition of which I was seeking consultation would interfere with a medication he somehow came up with that I am not taking and do not recall ever taking for a condition of which I have NEVER been diagnosed. I don't think he believed me, and refused to treat me for what my primary care physician had referred me because of an extremely high, off the chart blood test results.
