My husband and I can to Doctor Sanderson because of my epilepsy and when he found out what led me to have seizures he didn't treat me any differently. We are trying to figure out how to get control of my seizures and with Dr. Sanderson's help my husband and I agree we will. When he talks to us about a new medication he doesn't use the Dr. mumbo jumbo that every doctor uses he tells use honestly what he thinks will help and what he knows wont help.
18-yr old saw dr 4 weeks ago, put on ADDITIONAL anti-seizure med, to be inc. regularly. Follow-up was 8 weeks out. Patient had severe problems at 4 weeks, i.e. migraines, hand-eye coord, nausea, cognitive thinking, lethargy. Called dr several times, no call back. Took patient in yesterday, dr too busy to see him, sugg. he go to ER. NO dr should expect others to manage HIS diagnosis and treatment. These meds are serious, even life threatening, but dr couldn't take five minutes, foisted him to ER!
