Review of Dr. Gordon

-

Dr. Gordon stated there was nothing wrong with my back. I asked him about pain management- to that he said it probably wouldn’t do any good. He didn’t bother to answer questions I had about my concerns and my pain because it was obvious he wasn’t going to do anything. I went to the Cleveland Clinic and low and behold I have a pinched nerve. The sent me to pain management and I had injections in my back the next day - within hours the pain went from a 10 to a 2 and that is without pain medication! Would never recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone. He needs to start listening to his patients and start ‘discussing’ the issue the patient has come to see him about. Or he should find another profession and not in the medical industry.

This guy is not a doctor or surgeon. Five years ago he performed back surgery on my husband who is now in constant pain with every step he takes - he has made him a cripple. Today I met a couple whose fifty year old son had surgery by this man and proceeded to make him a cripple. And they met a twenty year old woman who also had back surgery this man and is also now a mess. Why is this man still called a surgeon and still working on human beings?

I had less than 5 minute appnt with you, but, not before you made a humiliating assumption about me, if you would have took time to listen Dr. Gordon, and actually tried to help, you would've found out I have a pinched nerve, that is what makes me walk as you say bazaar. I want to know what you think I might have wanted from you, other than help. I use wheelchair now, that way I cant walk "bazaar" now I just sit and stand, no one wants to help me because of your mistaken dx of me.

The staff was kind. Dr. Gordon left me feeling humiliated, demeaned, and like I was a waste of his time.

I read some negative reviews before my appointment with Dr. Gordon. Yes, he has an air of CONFIDENCE but not arrogance. THATS WHAT I WANT !! This guy is operating on my spine. He read my MRI and told me exactly what the issue was. He never pushed surgery but agreed with me when I said I needed it. My surgery on Dec 20th was flawless. So far the results are perfect. Dr. Gordon performed a laminectomy and I am already walking normally and pain free. His office staff are great..Karen is the best!

Had I of researched this Dr prior to my apt I would have not seen him. He walked into the room with a 'God' like air about him which set the scene from the get go. Throughout the apt, I found him extremely condescending to the point of being rude and insensitive. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone unless you don't mind being treated as a lesser human being than you are and brought to tears by lack of compassion, advise and a cutting tongue as sharp as a knife.

Review of Dr. Gordon

Dr. Gordon just preformed a L-4 to L-5 laminectomy/distectomy on me (9/2) at University Hospital *Case Western* medical center and he did an EXCELLENT JOB! Other than my suture/surgery pain, all of my butt & leg pain is gone! I have some slight numbness on the bottom of my left foot, but I'm sure that will go away with time. Dr. Gordan went above & beyond to make me feel better. He visited me after surgery 3xs (which put my nerves at rest). (Even during a holiday weekend.)

Dr. Gordon is an outstanding doctor who performed a very difficult operation to restore feeling to my limbs. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to spinal cord issues. Dr. Gordon made the correct assessments throughout my recovery and accurate with my recovery details. He took the time to explain the details and possible outcomes of my surgical procedure. He is truly a rock star when it comes to spine surgery.
