Dr Apple is a first rate radiation oncologist, saved my life and convinced my insurance company to approve the treatment plan he recommended! He's the best. Additionally, his staff was excellent! Unfortunately, dr Apple has left Cleveland Clinic and moved to Boca Ratón.
I found Dr. Apple to be approachable and compassionate. He answered all questions using language commensurate with patient's understanding, compared treatment options, included clinical trial protocols, and explained the pros and cons of each procedure. Dr. Apple personally coordinated care with one of his out-of-state Cleveland Clinic colleagues for us & was available to communicate with our Ohio physicians. Dr. Apple's knowledge and demeanor made us comfortable in our decisions.
I could not explained my experience with Dr. Apple without using profanity, this is why I can only say that having seen the way he has treated my wife and his lack of empathy, understanding and willing to listen to a patient is beyond believe, which at the same time takes a lot away about how we think about the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fl.
I have recommended Dr. Apple to others because I was thrilled with his treatment of me and my disease. He is caring, serious, and easy to trust. I never had a thought I wasn't getting expert care.
I am a 37 yr old male that came in with extreme pain and was struggling to walk from a upper thoracic herniation.3 other neurosurgeons and 2 neurologist that had all recommended surgery. He was on track for surgery but then canced everything and just told me I had chronic pain syndrome and wasn't a text book case.I just got out of Mayo Clinic and I have had improvement of symptom.Upper leasions do cause lower motor neuron problems! Mayo will be writing a paper on me and the less invasive approach
Once she got her opinion of you there was no changing her mind. And even through out how trained she was on these matters. Its unfortunate that she is in a position that you have to see her to move on and not actually choose to see her for help.
I have had two cancer surgeries dating back to 2010 with Dr, Berglund. I could not have found a better Doctor. I'm glad he's on my team !!
I came into the Hillcrest ER with an undiagnosed kidney issue and this Dr was assigned to me. After numerous flare ups & visits we still had no answers. He ran the exact same test 5 times and just said he didn't see anything even though my kidney function was 22%. I finally went elsewhere after a year and thousands of dollars in medical bills. I was diagnosed wihth a UPJ & had surgery to fix it within 3 months at the new Dr. Dr Berglund acted like I was a bother to him. Not happy at all.
Dr. Grimm deserves 5 star rating in every area. He treated my grandmother over 20 years ago till she passed away at age 89, and saved her life. Now I came to see him and trust his professionalism and expertise. Thank you doctor and thank you Cleveland Clinic for all the care my family is getting over the years.
I went to Dr. Hsich for a second opinion. I was told I needed a heart transplant. She started out the oppointment by saying I didn't want to get a transplant , ( it is hard to find an organ match , there is a high rate of rejection for certain individuals, there is a high rate of cancer after receiving a transplant, ... Just very negative and laughed nervously at inappropriate times. She read my records and changed her tune and said I did need a transplant. Very unprofessional. I went to UH....
Dr. Hsia really does not have a good handle on pain, such as my own... this is supposed to be his specialty. He bends to politics put upon him by Cleveland Clinic. He gave me incorrect information on insurance which cost me $500 out of pocket. I trusted him, now I don't.
Although Dr. Hsia was a very nice person, I felt very frustrated throughout most of my visit. A number of my questions went unanswered; symptoms all reference material said should be of concern he dismissed; I believed he presumed to know the idiosyncrasies of my body more than I did even though I live in it; he discounted a very serious birth defect I KNOW plays a huge impact on my pain level, telling me it doesn't when a major study confirms my experience. I wish I'd had another doctor.
Superior listening skills. Meticulous review of medical charts. Excellent diagnostic recommendations for recovery.
I went to Dr Hsia after having pain in my buttocks, hips and legs for months. Dr Hsia knew immediately what was causing the issue whereas my primary care Dr had not a clue. I had Piriformis Muscle issues casing major pain all down my legs especially at night, only getting two to three hours of sleep at night. Dr Hsia immediately referred me to PM with recommendations to receive a Piriformis Injection. I had the injection within minutes and the pain was gone! I cannot thank Dr Hsia enough!
He takes his time explaining everything & answering questions. He remembered a question I had asked at a previous visit, which I'd forgotten all about. He remembered & addressed it, I was quite impressed. Hes very knowledgeable & tells it like it is. We drove through a snowstorm overnight to get here, we were late, he still kept my appointment & still took his time. I come from a family with a long line of heart problems & I trust this man with my life. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
Understood my medical situation and has helped me
I wish he didn't leave the clinic he did my decompression a few years back all my symptoms have returned he recommended a revision before he left and I have yet to find a neuro that I trust the way I did him.
Excellent skilled and caring physician. I owe my life to Dr. Lytle and his medical team. He operated on me almost 9 years ago to the day, for a blockage, failing aortic heart valve and a thoracic aneurysm.
Dr. Levinton worked me immediately into his schedule and gave me a confident diagnosis for a vascular issue that has perplexed other doctors for 17 years. He was courteous, professional and did not take himself too seriously. A great rapport, very informative and knowledgeable. He even attended the ultrasound he sent me for. I highly recommend him.
Dr Lever is one of the most though doctors I have ever met. He is old school and takes time to explain complex diagnososis and answer all questions. I can say 11 years ago he saved my life and have never felt better!
I'm 7 days post op. I had a spinal fusion L3-S1. I can already feel and see a difference. I'm not really sure Dr. Krishnaney realizes how amazing he truly is. Physically my appearance is outstanding just after 7 days!!! Mentally I have my self esteem back. He's given me a better quality of life. Yes, I'm still in some pain but each day gets better. It all feels worth it when I look into the mirror. I can lay on my back and sides! I haven't slept laying down in months!!!! I thank you so very much
I chose to take my daughter for a 2nd opinion in 2015 from Columbus, OH due to epilepsy. Best decision I ever made! Dr. Kotagal is by far the best pediatric epilepsy physician with a kind & gentle bed side manner. He truly listens & cares! I would give him 10 star rating!
No stars. I would not recommend him. He did not listen, was not helpful, and rude.
Dr Ilaslan has done a couple of deep bone biopsies and read many images related to my sons health. He is a genius at what he does.
Awesome doctor, awesome staff. He found and fixed a failed fusion that was missed. I was told there was nothing more to do, I probably had permanent nerve damage, & I could get a 2nd opinion if I wanted. His staff friendly & never made me feel stupid with my questions & always called me back & made sure I understood everything.
I traveled to Dr Jaeger from Columbus after seeing several doctors locally. For the 1st time in yrs I feel confident in the plan established! Dr Jaeger spent time w/ my fiance & I going over everything. He recommended procedures/tests that I had requested from other drs (other docs told me "that we weren't there yet" & would refer me elsewhere. Dr Jaeger actually suggested the things I've been requesting!) Only downside is how difficult it can be to get ahold of him via phone, hes a busy guy!
Very poor experience with her. Saw her over a 10 mo. period. Highly distracted. Didn't seem present during my visits. Had to plead w/ her for OTC prescriptions. Was denied prescription for anti inflammatory ointment by her. Denied most of my requests for simple treatments.
If there were 10 stars he'd get all 10. This man is a DOCTOR!!
The first appointment I had was 2 months out. She cancelled it a week before. The next appointment she had was another two months out. Very disappointing as I am miserable and in constant pain.
His nurse and the doctor were rude and seemed rushed and unprepared. We came from out of town with high expectations and was immediately put in our place. It seemed the doctor did not like questions.
He Has Been Extremely helpful And Thorough. Excellent At Communicating With Other Doctors In Medical Team.
Dr Mroz is great! He did a risky revision lumbar fusion on me when no one else would help me. He did a great job! I'm very thankful for people like Dr Mroz!
She found a spot that was so tiny, many radiologists might not have seen it. Several of my doctors confirmed this. I had surgery but did not need chemo or radiation thanks to her early detection. I will be forever grateful.
Terrible experience with Couetenay Moore!
Dr. Navia is an excellent doctor - I and my family really appreciated his personality, skill, and knowledge in solving my mitral valve problem.
She was extremely kind and made me feel very comfortable. She even went the extra mile to find another urologist in my city (I live 2.5 hours away.). She told me what to expect and what I needed to do on my end. I actually wish she practiced closer to where I live!
Dr. Pioro is an excellent and caring doctor. He does whatever it takes to make sure you don't leave his office with any doubts or questions. Best neurologist at Cleveland Clinic.
The longer I stayed with him as my urologist, the more problems i had. Performed several surgeries following cancer treatment. Not successful. Had to be reversed. I ended up in ER after he inserted catheter incorrectly. Missed over 3 months of work due to complications.
Very professional. Takes time to explain as well as get the patient'safety input for the treatment plan. Answers your questions to your care completely. Fantastic bedside manner.
saved my wifes life.
Dr. Gosta Pettersson is a brilliant thoracic surgeon who operated on me twice within the last 13 years. I had an aortic valve repair in 2003 and an aortic root reconstruction with mechanical valve implantation in 2016.
Dr. Rackley is very understanding and explained my surgical options clearly. Dr. Rackley did not rush me. He took a lot of time addressing my concerns. He has a great bedside manner also. Dr. Rackley is a top-notch physician and has a very friendly staff working with him. Renee
I couldn't disagree with the negative post from March 2016 more. Dr. Rackley is very professional and knowledgeable. I came to Dr. Rackley after being misdiagnosed by 2 other uroligists. I immediately felt confidence in him. He listened and explained my options. His associates also acted with the same professionalism. I would highly recommend Dr. Rackley andGlickman Glickman Urology for female specific issues.
Dr. Rackley demonstrated increasing levels of agitation in response to my clarification my disease process and treatment plan, at many times was inconsistent in explanation. After describing my chronic pain, Dr. described be as hostile and suggested I see a different Dr (which I did in during an immediate summary with the secretary) To sum, Rackley has very poor bedside manner and poor attitude. Gave 1 star because giving him 0 is not an option. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
Dr. Porter performed a cystoscopy resulting in extensive bleeding, blood clots and pain. I spent 1 night @ Hillcrest and was discharged with a Foley catheter. Pain cont'd with more clots sending me to CCF ED and CDU. I went to his office to remove catheter & speak with him. The catheter could not be removed, I made an apt., earliest was in 9 days and left a message for him to call. He didn't call until I sent a message saying I wanted any surgery done at CCF main.
Excellent Surgeon! He saved my life! had a complicated second AVR procedure, I truly believed that I would not have made it without Dr. Roselli and his fantastic team at the Cleveland Clinic.
By far this is the worst health service I have ever received. She was rude, arrogant and I doubt she performed the ultrasound properly. I just did the screening for a routine purpose but I wonder how a person emotionally vulnerable because of a desease would feel about it.
February 23, 2015 was the day Dr. Sabik saved my mother's life. She experienced a stroke and major heart attack leaving her heart severely damaged and 90% blocked. We were scared and in unknown territory since my mother had been healthy until that day. Dr. Sabik was extremely compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and made us feel very hopeful. My mother made a complete recovery. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sabik, he will forever be our hero!!
I have never had any type of interaction with medical person who was so insensitive, uncaring, rude inappropriately arrogant and unprofessional. Clearly this woman needs some sensitivity training and should not have contact with patients directly. I would never recommend her to anyone and am surprised the she is at the CCF.......She is in no way an asset to the institution.
Dr. Sabik performed minimally evasive mitral valve repair surgery on my husband August 1st. He was amazing! My husband only spent 2 days in I.C.U. and 2 days in step down. Dr. Sabik is a very caring and compassionate doctor. Made sure he answered all my questions!
The office lost some of my films that I sent. All of my tests that the doctor did have, he had no idea, he never looked at anything. He suggested that I get some tests done, I had already had those tests done, they were sitting there for him to look over before my appointment, he never even touched them. He had no idea , complete waste of time.
One of the few surgeons that spent a large amount of time with me while in Cardio Intensive unit after my triple bypass surgery. He has extensive experience with his field and is a very interesting, involved Doctor.
Dr.Rozelli is a life saver! He removed a fibroid tumor from my arotic valve. I was sooo scared,I told himI want to wake up! He assured me,he would take care of me.He surely did.I had a full recovery. Thank you and your caring staff for staying over to take are of me!
He is an excellent surgeon but the follow up was horrible . I am out of state and I requested to talk to him but I did not hear back from him . i can't do the required follow up visits since I am 1000 miles away and his staff did not care to check on my status or nutrition , they just gave me their handout book and good luck with that . To me they were very friendly until they get the money then after that .... (Since I was self pay). No weight loss for 3 months and they say it's normal !
Aortia, valve and ascending aortia repair surgery for six plus hours; wonderful
I have been remiss in sending a review. My pancreatic cancer surgery was 7/15. Dr Walsh skills are beyond reproach. His entire team was outstanding. I am forever in his debt for giving me my life cancer free.
Saw Dr. Rundo is 2013 and she ran tons of blood test. She found nothing wrong with me I asked her to do a Lyme test and I was told she has no reason to believe I have Lyme disease. So I went 6 more months untill I finally got the Lyme disease diagnosis. 2 yrs of antibiotics 9 months with a picc line and now I will have this disease for rest of my life. She told me nothing was wrong with me and to continue taking the medication she prescribed. Why take medication if nothing is wrong with me?
He is very personable. When you see him it is about something embarrassing. He makes it comfortable and is easy to talk to. Helps figure out the issue and is not one to push meds on you. Looks at simple things first. Thank you Dr Vasavada. Glad I found you
Hands down. Saved my life. Saves many lives. Superhuman work machine with a bedside manor guaranteed to make you smile. Beloved, respected, revered leader, of the best place on earth to get your heart mended. I will never forget the care level at all levels of the process. I will continue to be their biggest fan and billboard for the rest of my life. If you can make a decision in a vertical position when the time comes, do not hesitate. Destination: Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Lars Svensson
I've been seeing Dr Stevens for 4 years. He has a great combination of expertise, compassion, and a witty sense of humor. He is very personable and I trust him. I drive 3 hours from Michigan to see him every 4 months.
Dr. Tchou is an excellent doctor. In 1998 I had an ablation for supraventricular tachycardia at another hospital. My heart was even worse after that procedure. I had to switch insurance plans to go to the Clinic. I saw Dr. Tchou and he was able to fix my heart and my daughter's as well. We have total faith in him. He is the best!!!
This is a doctor the like of which I had not experienced. He was so disinterested in me and my problems, did not listen to me when I tried to tell him I wanted to begin seeing a female psychiatrist in the dept. for help with diagnosed PTSD and dissociative episodes. Talked happily with my husband about travel but ignored me, acted so dismissively and rudely to me, like why the hell are you bothering me. I never tried to contact that dept. again, so do not have a doctor now.
Dr. Tease is overly-dedicated. He has always been there and asked good questions during appointments. The only downside is he hasn't been able to come up with a perfect cure for my symptoms, but he is working to the fullest of the medical profession's limits. He is extremely committed and caring.
The best of doctors! I completely trust Dr. Tchou's very capable abilities. Very thorough diagnoses, explains complex medical issues in simple and easy to understand language and pictures.
Fantastic physician who takes the time to really educate his patients in easy ways to understand. Brilliant researcher. Speaks to patients with respect. Good sense of humor.
Great doctor! Explains things very well, compassionate approach for invasive radiology. Wonderful!!
Dr. Stillman treated me for migraines several years ago. His treatment changed my life. I still have migraines, but not to the severity they were before seeing him, and they are much less frequent.
Dr. Campbell saved my life! I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor 4 years ago, and was fortunate enough to have Dr. Campbell as my surgeon. He was very compassionate, and explained the entire process to my husband and me clearly. I have been cancer free for 4 years now and I credit my life to Dr. Campbell. Since the operation, I have emailed him questions and have ALWAYS received a response back from him. I am forever thankful to have a doctor as experienced and compassionate as Dr. Campbell.
Very caring. My first visit he took the time to actually go thru all my MRI slides one by one and explained them to me.
Dr. Collins treated me 20 years ago. With his help and treatment I have remained healthy and sober since then. I strongly recommend Dr. Collins as a top notch, caring addiction doctor.
I would never recommend Dr. Cho. She was very arrogant, unprofessional, sarcastic, rude, and rushed. Seriously in need of emotional therapy to find her inner peace so she can quit impacting patients in this negative way. I have left many positive reviews so If I find a professional worthy, I go that way too. The nurse that came in before her was professional and nice. However, I did sense her nervousness and being rushed and now I know why...worried about doing her job good enough for this a
I was referred to Dr. Dorosti for evaluation on 11/11/2010. the evaluation was thorough and efficient and he arranged for me to be seen by Dr.Lytle on the same day so we did not have to stay over the weekend. The clinic is a joy to visit and Dr. Dorosti is a wonderful physician.
he is so knowledgeable and give his honest replies when i would ask him "what would you do if you were me?" .... he tried a lot of things to help me with my back and leg pain.
Dr. Collins is the most horrible monster I ever met. He should have his license revoked. He cares nothing of the comfort of the patient. He likes to degrade his patients. He gave me PTSD. I hated him so much that I reported him to the FDA. His motto must be, "First, Do Harm."
very considerate and and listens to your problems, I would recomend him to everybody seeking pain relief without going threw surgery.
Not helpful at all! Told me my symptoms were benign and would go away, released me from Cardiac care even though my doctor who sent me hadn't cleared me and still hasn't! She also unprofessionally picked at and festered past medical mistakes. Perhaps she is good for some other patients?
She was very unprofessional ! She is the only bad experience I have encountered at the Cleveland Clinic! Very rude person! I never experienced a Dr. that literally yelled at me to close my eyes and then put a napkin or something over my face so I couldn't see!!! I didn't know a heart cath was such a secret. I have had friends that have had them and they tell me the Dr actually explain and shows them the procedure. I also believe they didn't numb the area either. It hurt so bad!!!!!
Dr. Chand is a very kind and experienced surgeon.
I was very impressed with Dr. gong. He explained everything in a way that I could understand it. He has a good bedside manner. He is a very friendly and intelligent person. I would recommend him to anyone.
Excellent communication, great attitude, caring and patient.
He saved me!!! I don't know what I would do without him.
Very, very pleased with Dr. Faulx. He took care of an issue that my former cardiologist gave up on and had no further treatment options for me. Dr. Faulx listened carefully to all I had to say and put me on a medication that has been a Godsend to me and has taken care of my problem. Whenever I have a question and email him through My Chart he always responds promptly and thoroughly. He never rushes me during an appointment but takes his time to listen and explain. He is very kind & compassionate
Very helpful and sympathetic with ongoing issues I've been having. Takes time to work things out to get you the help needed. Highly recommend
Dr. Fergany removed a large AML from my left kidney. I was told by another highly rated Dr from another hospital that if they performed the surgery it would have to be a total nephrectomy. I didn't like this option. He was confident that he could successfully perform the surgery and save my kidney and adrenal gland but also explained that complications during surgery could dictate otherwise. Surgery was successful. Surgical notes were also helpful.
I took my son to see Dr. Falcone because his father passed away and he was depressed. Dr. Falcone prescribed a high dose of Zoloft for my son. He had terrible side effects from this drug that I ended up stopping with the help of another doctor. During the few weeks my son was under Dr. Falcone care, she was more worried about going home to her daughters than seeing my son when he had an appointment with her. I do not recommend this doctor at all.
Dr. Gong is without doubt an excellent surgeon. He got my father through a very long and difficult surgery with ease and was very considerate when he delivered by father’s initial diagnosis of cancer. However, his post-operative care needs a bit of work. He’s very short on follow-up and doesn’t provide a full explanation of possible outcomes from surgeries and procedures. In addition, it was extremely difficult to get a call back from him and his office staff, even when my father was admitted in
Dr. Gonsalves understands post-menopausal issues and post-cancer surgeries. She is on top of the latest treatments. Responds to messages quickly. Always is concerned about my well being. Never feel rushed in her appointments. Excellent doctor.
The best of the best. Excellent doctor and surgeon. Quick appointments. Worth the travel. Took great care of my husband.
In 2013 my wife went into Baylor to have a stent put in. It was decided at that time she would need a bypass instead. Dr. Gonzalez-Stawinski came to the recovery room a half hour to meet with my wife and me and explain the procedure and answer any questions we had. Her surgery was scheduled within a couple of days. After a quadruple bypass he met with the family to tell us everything went well. I got my wife back and I'm very thankful for the professionalism of his entire staff.
I had in vitro 1997 my beautiful daughter is 18
I feel comfortable with telling him what is going on with me. He listens and shows interest in what I have to say. He is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to friends and family.
After seeing several Urologists who said they had no idea what was wrong with me, Dr. Shoskes was able to diagnose and cure my problem. Should have seen him first
He's extremely arrogant. He acts like a know-it-all. He's demeaning and doesn't listen very well. He's not responsive. You'll never hear from him if you need to. His patient care is terrible. I would NEVER recommend him.
Dr. Stephenson by all accounts saved my life. I had prostate cancer and he recommended that I have it removed. When I awoke from surgery he was there along with my wife and told me that the surgery went well. I'm nine months post-op and my life is back to normal. No incontinence , no radiation or chemotherapy. I've become a full time advocate for the Cleveland Clinic and in particular, Dr. Stephenson. He's personable and in my opinion I wouldn't recommend anyone else for this surgery.
Gave me my life back. Was suffering from chronic testicular pain for 10 years. Local MD's said nothing could be done. Dr. Shoskes operated on my spermatic cord and I've been perfect ever since.
Great experienced cardiologist, always comes to appointments having carefully read patients history. Amazing bedtime manner too!
Went for more surgery . Does not operate unless absolutely necessary was very happy with that.
Best Urologist for men's health and especially chronic prostatitis. Compassionate and responsive.
I spent 5 hours waiting for him and got 3 minutes of face time, one second of eye contact. Maybe he has better days sometimes. Arrogant,
Dr Stein was exceptionally thorough and thoughtful in his responses to my questions. He spent a great deal of time in my appointment (longer than my scheduled appointment time) and I never felt rushed or that he was in a hurry. He showed great compassion and concern for me and my wife. While obviously an accomplished clinician he was very down to earth. We never felt like we were just another patient. It was an excellent experience.
I terribly regret ever allowing Dr. Shoskes treat me for chronic pelvic pain. He provided an outpatient medical procedure and I have endured unbearable pain ever since. My day-to-day life has been greatly damaged. I am unable to sit; have pain and this has affected my work and personal life. To date, I have not been able to speak with Dr. Shoskes at all since the procedure over 1 month ago- a total lack of compassion. He may abandon you if things go bad. Go to someone else.
Dr. Stein is one of the best surgeons I have ever had in 61 years. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and his compassion, kindness, and attention to detail was was extraordinary. I highly recommend Dr. Stein to anyone who is in need of an excellent surgeon who also possesses a kind heart and listened to my concerns during each of our visits with him. Dr. Stein was never rushed and listened and answered all of our questions along with thoroughly explaining the procedure.
