Pediatric Surgery
Dr Fischer has been handing my sins colorectal issues for the past 6 years and most recently this post month surgery. He's amazing and very caring, never rushed my son in his heading and always very conservative in handling his issues. 10 stars if possible

1 star is one 1 too many. I find it ironic that the ENT MD did such little listening to us (the parents). She was curt, dismissive, and unempathetic. My child will never see her again

Dr. Rutter is the best doctor my kids have ever seen. He is kind, compassionate, calm, and patient. This man was made for the pediatric field. He actually takes time to listen to you and you can tell he cares. We need a Dr. Rutter in every specialty!

Pediatric Hematology & Oncology
We have waited to get in for months due to COVID. Unfortunately records of testing already completed, which lead to the Hematology/Oncology, were never sent according to the doctor. He thought we were there for nosebleeds. Yes, my son was having nosebleeds, but also was having shortness of breath, rashes, pale skin, bruising all over, and sleeping more than usual. I am a nurse practitioner and I am able to read a CBC. My sons hemoglobin is low, RBC low, and absolutes are off. But because I was questioning his treatment plan of “saline nose spray to prevent nosebleeds” due to the fact we were told we were there to rule out leukemia, he became agitated and annoyed. He then made a point to point out I am not a physician, but only a nurse practitioner. He slammed his door as he was rushing out of the room because I do not feel saline nose spray is a treatment for an unknown blood disorder.

We travelled across the country to have my daughter examined by Dr Shott despite not having complete coverage by insurance because of the distance. I dearly wish she was closer, even if she was within 8 hours drive it would be wonderful. I completely trust her judgement. I can see how some people might think she is sometimes a bit abrupt but who cares? Other physicians told me she is one of the best pediatric ENTs in the US and the best for children with DS.

Dr. Rutter spent three years delicately working on my daughter’s airway. He truly has a gift from God. Dr. Rutter patiently and properly corrected her airway in many steps. She now breathes on her own, talks normal and is very active. And the amount of time he has spent with us not only while in Cincinnati but as well via email when we are home here in Dallas is impressive. He truly cares for his patients. A very happy mom. Dr. Greinwald is great physician. He talked to my 3 year old to gain his trust before his examination. He wore a silly hat and my son loved it. We have seen him twice for earninfection and tongue tied both occasions he was great! Answered all of our questions and put us at ease.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. She dismissed everything I said and didn’t even bother to read my daughter’s chart or test results. She told me to give my three year old daughter a placebo medication because there was nothing wrong with her. We had to point out to her what her test results stated, she left to check them before coming back and agreeing to remove her tonsils. I’ll definitely be looking for another ENT to perform my daughter’s surgery.
